True that, but he said medical's taking place "as we speak" so it suggests an imminent signing, be it today or later this week, which I find hard to believe. Glad to be proven wrong, though (provided it's not Charlie Adam).

Well the media are also saying De Gea will be rubber-stamped this week. So your man is saying a medical is being done today, we could announce De Gea on Friday (if indeed it is him).

We all suspected De Gea would be signed up after the u21 championships anyway, so this movement suggests it is him.

I think its De Gea with the U21s are over and he is changing agent on 1st july. If he s signing on friday, it makes sense that his medical is taking place now.

FootballAgentPM Stop biting everyone. Bad information from a journalist friend of mine. Apologies.

Twitter is not all full of shit you know. There is information on there posted that is legit, and the footie agent who said about the medical is legit apparently, so you can understand why folk believe it.

People believe what they want to believe. I just think it's better not to get excited about every appearing twitter rumour coming from an "ITK" person, whether it's a journo, a football agent or whoever else. If I learned anything during the last few transfer windows, then it's that there are no "ITK" people that would share their knowledge on the internet. I've seen too many self-proclaimed "ITK" people proven wrong to fall for it again.

There you go. How many times some of you have to get fooled not to believe as shit a source as twitter?

You could just as easily replace the word 'twitter' in that question with 'internet' and it's the same thing. There are shit sources on twitter and there are shit websites who make up equally stupid things. It's all about what sources you trust and there's nothing wrong with using twitter sources if you follow the good ones.

For the record, does everyone take all this with more then a big a pinch of salt? I think we all do, Twitter speculation is a bit of fun, nothing else, no need to complain here.

Of course. Journalists are bad enough, most of the shite in papers never happens, so why would anyone put all their stock in Twitter? I do believe FootballAgentPM is a genuine agent, and I believe he'll know certain things, but he's just as susceptible to rumour-mongering and WUM as we are.

So FootballAgentPM was right after all. Perhaps United told him to stop spilling secrets or they'd make O'Shea dump his agency.

Turns out he was right...

I feel like I intimately know the bricks of that hospital now.

If he has closed his account I wonder if this is what happened. Not the part about O'Shea but it is possible United were unhappy he disclosed that info??

Sad that FootballAgentPM had to delete his account, he was one if the reliable sources, Sky Sports now reporting the De Gea medical. Also he was the agent for some of the United lad's.

Was this supposed to be under wraps till july?
noone bothered with the sheets for Young and Jones.
