Why is the Thiago thread closed? The hottest talking point of the summer, possibly coming close to fruition, and we're not allowed to discuss it?

Dwayne decided so cause there was nothing concrete going on. A poor decision IMO, cause a lot of people were having a good fun and it was similar to other transfer sagas of last year. On the bright side, we don't have to spend countless hours there speaking about anonymous ITK and what was not going on.

That is a brilliant deal for Juve, if true. With the addition of Tevez and Llorente, they've sorted out what was pretty much their weakest area in the squad. Napoli and Co will really have to step up their game next season if they're to make even a dent on Juve's title aspirations.

Why do teams keep paying money to have Tevez on their team? He'll be a world class footballer for 3 or 4 games, cheat on his wife, and then will feck off on his team in the middle of their title race...he is the ultimate cancer

Something about blaming United's medical team for his constant injury problems

Also, signing for Citeh

Yeah, that was a strange parting shot, but he couldn't have hated it as much as he claimed, considering he was desperate to stay on when his contract expired. I reckon he was more bitter about having to leave than the treatment we gave him.

Tevez's departure means that Phil Jones has no competition when it comes to making hideous faces.

Delighted Tevez is finally fecking off - if Suarez goes as well then the league will be a much better place next season.

Almost all those previous saga threads were closed at some point, some more than once. I'm surprised the Thiago one lasted as long as it did. It's open again now though, right?

Yes, all those one times he's done that point to it being a continuing trait.

True, but my point being that he is a twat, and seems to be as much a distraction as a benefit to a team. Plus, he never seems to settle well

He is highly talented, but way too much baggage
Yeah, he's a twat, but we're a bit biased. He was a big part of them winning the title that year when he came back, so what you levelled at him is the wrong way round. He came back for the run-in and helped them win the league.

He didnt settle well In England, who knows what he'd do in Italy. His family will probably enjoy it more though

Twitter says €9m for Tevez. When he's not dicking about he's a quality player, that's a decent fee for him.

Obviously he will dick about, but at that price if he's on his game 40% of the time it's a decent deal.
