If true, he's turned down CL football, chance to challenge for the title & playing in Serie A which would suit him perfectly to join Fulham? Strange decision IMO.

Happy he's staying in the Prem tbh, he's a great player and I'll miss him, but at least following his progress will be made easier at Fulham.
I'd prefer him not scoring against us at all. Which is very unlikely given how he was 'treated' at United, if you believe in that sort of stuff.

I find it a bit strange that berbatov's wife was happy with him going to fiorentina but not to juventus. according to the italian press, fiorentina and fulham's offers were higher than that of juventus. I mean juventus could afford to throw a couple of million more for a striker like berbatov.

It is odd in some ways but in others it's understandable. At Fulham he can go back to being the main man and enjoy around 2 or so seasons as a regular player. Fulham have changed their style under Jol and he could fit in well. I guess having been a squad player for the last 18 months or so he's seen enough to know that he'd rather start on a regular basis. Well that's what I reckon has played a factor as well as the family situation that has been suggested by Juve. I can't imagine Fulham could have offered him that much more cash.
