Bob Cass @Bob_Cass 57m
Let's put Lucas to bed. United thought they had the deal done but PSG offered fortunes. Ok - so I got it wrong ... as it turned out

@JulyTeeMUFC Cheers mate. PSG came in after. The Lucas connections won the lottery. United lost a player - but he's not worth €45 ...

In fairness, Bob Cass was right about Lucas, his agent himself said that it was a done deal before PSG came will all their money. That's why I think there's still one transfer left before the end of the summer. :drool:

What makes you think so?

Maybe because we had bids accepted on both Hazard and Lucas. Might mean funds are available for another player. Had we go Hazard, I doubt we'd have bid for Lucas personally.

I think Kagawa and Van Persie seemed to be in the pipeline alongside one of the other two. In terms of majors signings, with Powell and Henriquez being for future.

In a way powell and henriquez may be considered as a direct replacment for pogba and morrison.

@unitedrant
Poll. How should @piersmorgan kill himself? 1) concrete boots 2) own tie 3) pills 4) 'doing a Cobain' 5) forced to watch arsenal on repeat

@TotallyArsenal
Never ever expected Robin to leave Arsenal. Not even after his statement. Thought he loved the club. Thought he wanted the club to win trophies. And most of all I thought he wanted to win trophies with the club. But, we all get it wrong on the odd occasion. I suppose it was inevitable he was going to leave. But to our rivals sickens me. The fact he betrayed the club that stood by him for 8 years sickens me even more.

But, Gooners, on 27th April, 2013, I want us all to show him why he should never have left.

Barton signs for Marseille on one year loan deal. What?

How will scrapping it out with Spurs for fourth spot make RVP wish he'd never left? :confused:

@Frimponged
Graham Hunter claims RvP has wanted to join Manchester United since January and called them saying he'd join in summer.

@Joey7Barton
Heard my shirt numbers gone to someone else. News to me...

Iain Culverhouse@UKVampire
@Joey7Barton Face it barton.....NOBODY WANTS YOU

@SkySportsPeteO
Sky Sports understands Daniele De Rossi's agent flew to England today for talks with Man City. #MCFC

Just what they need. Yet another CM.

Didn't he recently sign a new deal with Roma? Sounds like rubbish to me.

feck off...De Rossi is class.

Kolarov and De Rossi share the same agent. Maybe it's related to the former.

De Rossi is superior to their other CM's except Yaya and he'll be off at the ACON in January, it would be a great signing unfortunately.

Why do certain managers seem obsessed with only buying players that play in certain positions?

DDR is linked to City every transfer window. Let's see if he ever signs for them.

This time the league is going to be truly great.

The flair of Manchester United is going to be on all time high.

If I was an opponent I would really hate facing Kagawa, Rooney , Van Persie and Nani on the same pitch.

De Rossi would be a tremendous buy for City, exactly what they need right now. Yaya is class but all their defensive midfielders aren't at the same level. Barry is average, De Jong is one dimensional, Rodwell hasn't been good for Everton for a while. Hope they don't get De Rossi as it'd definitely make them much stronger.
