As I said before, Journalists don't leave you on cliff hangers on exclusive scoops like that. There is no way they would leave themselves open to being trumped to the exclusive by another journalist.
 
That David Johnson who knows a lot of the players is saying RVP is in Manchester and will sign this week. He's also saying Welbeck will stay.

Edit:he's now saying RvP could be with the Holland squad but he's definitely a United player this week.
 
David Johnson knows Welbeck personally, He doesn't tell lies either. He told Ravels case how it was last season. I think Welbeck will stay but I don't know if he is right on RVP

Its best to keep calm, but he's good friends with a lot of the players and he says he got it from one of them. He's usually been spot on before.

Things can change quickly in football- just look at Moura, but it's interesting anyway.
 
What first teamer would know if we have signed RVP anyway? who would Fergie or whoever trust the most?

I reckon it's because he's a known quantity. United have a culture of buying potential and growing top class players, he's clearly already one in the peak of his career and is unlikely to improve.

I think there's more excitement in gambling on potential.
 
I've seen that guy call Morrison and now Welbeck and fryers.

I think he might genuinely know a few players, still means nothing though.

He *could* have asked what the likelihood of the RvP transfer is and how it would affect his playing time to get assurances about his development.

I think they know more than they let on but one easy way into Fergie's bad book is by talking about it in public so they keep quiet.

He may be an absolute plank, but he is in with a few of the United lads, and did say Pogba was leaving ages ago, and he also said Fryers was going as pointed out before. He is certainly more "reliable" than some of these agent dicks that have been tweeting about this.

David Johnson definitely seems to know a few of the players from our Youth Cup wining squad. However I would have my doubts about him getting a scoop like this.
 
Some good ITK's finally getting similar info, it even seems Piers Morgan knows something is going on!

Anyway, I'm still sat on the fence with my cock out well and truly out imagining the prospect of RVP & Roo next year - He's signing!!
