If Milan sells these 2 players I doubt that they will qualify for Champions next season. Literally best players in their position in Italy by a long distance.

i agree.

that is a shit deal for milan.

ibra is a one-man machine in serie a and keeping him always gives you a chance in the league without question.

and silva is only 27 and a world class CB.

If i was a milan tifoso i would be livid.

That's not the point. They're royally screwed finance-wise. Selling the two players that will stump up enough cash and take a huge chunk out of the wage bill is the only thing they can do. This will give them some leeway, and perhaps sign up some younger, cheaper talent.

If there isn't at least one rumour by the time I wake up tomorrow morning linking us with a central midfielder I am going to highly consider writing a strongly worded letter to Sir Alex himself, and also all of the Glazers, and also David Gill.

Is this a ploy from his team to force a move to Inter or United...

All the Lucas Moura to United info seems to be coming from same place: the player's camp. Much like Gaitan, would be wary.

That means the club isn't interested. Move on.

A source close to #EFC says the club will continue to resist #MUFC's overtures to Leighton Baines until they offer close to £20 million.

We should bid for Kate Beckinsale instead.

That's the thanks to us for letting them have Howard, Neville, Saha and Gibson for almost nothing.

If we came anywhere close to paying that then frankly the Glazers should take all of transfer budget/"war chest" (however big/small it actually is) and give it all to the first banker they come across - we clearly wouldn't deserve transfer funds if we wasted it like that.

Not that I think there's anything major in that tweet, nor do I think we'll be so wasteful.

Lots of rumours that Burloscini has said that he's sold Ibra and Silva to PSG. Football's becoming a joke.

PSG will be in Pot 4 in the Champions League. Hope we stay away from them.

I'd rather try and tempt BAE away from Spurs for that money. Seriously, he's a 10-12 million pound player, at best. BAE is a better defender, better going forward and much, much cooler, which is always important.

I think BAE is terrible. Makes Pat Evra looks like a defensive masterclass.

Agree that the quoted valuation is bonkers. But I'd not include Gibson on that list. I'm relieved they took him, I'd have given him away. He served as little more than a weak excuse to not go out and buy what we need (and still do).

Reports in Brazil is that Inter bid 25m euros for Lucas while United bid 33m euros Sao Paolo wont except anything below 30m euros

Inzaghi would probably score 30 goals in Premier League. 24 from offside position.

United are in talks with Christian Eriksen over a possible transfer & Ajax are already looking for a replacement for the player. [sport1]

To answer #MUFC questions, told several days ago that United had made offer for Baines. #EFC want Macheda loan. United want to sell him.

A Macheda loan to Everton seems ideal to me - I'm not sure of his contract status but if there's a chance of a good loan move then that could only increase his sale fee (which must be pretty low as it anyway).
