He still has to get sentenced for a different trial, which may at least double his time. Given his rapid implosion from dapper international conman to wheelchaired prisoner with increasing medical issues, I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson winds up being correct.

Exactly. Himself and Stone have helped ruin America and still continue to flout the law. Is there any appeals process the DOJ can go through? Surely there should be a system for appealing lenient sentences. The longer Atlantic article from last year that profiled him is an extraordinary read.

Be interesting to audit Judge Ellis’s previous sentences to see how often he went against sentencing guidelines and substantially lowered or raised the prison sentences he handed down.

I find it incredible that people are surprised that Manafort got a lenient sentencing. What in the world did you expect? That’s how it’s going to be with most of those involved. Some will get parole, others will serve a few months in a prison with tennis courts and when everything is done, they’ll just continue as before.
Remember you are not in your masters class. They are above the law, when will you all accept it. It's the same here in the UK as it is all over the world.
Maybe he should have sold some loose cigarettes or vote in Texas. He would have gotten at least 10.
I just want to point out again, that Trump was absolutely right when he said, that he could shoot someone without losing voters. These people act outside of the law and they are not being held accountable for anything.
