Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Isn't firing Sessions & hiring Whitaker obstruction of justice?
It almost certainly is but the difficulty lies in proving the intent. The president is certainly able to fire the Attorney General. It's just that everything else makes is so obviously an attempt to hinder/undermine the Russia investigation that you have to believe (pray?) someone will step up to stop Whitaker from taking full control. But of course that won't stop Trump. He'll just make another move and try to do it in a less obvious way. If the GOP had any guts they'd stop it from going further. But it will likely take a lawsuit or something blatant like an indictment of his son to stop him before the Dems take over the House in January.

I wonder if/when they ever release his tax returns and they show he paid little to no taxes - would his base be ok with that?
Of course Trump would counter that he (his organization and employees) paid millions in taxes.
It’s such a lot of mis-direction that it’s frustrating for most people that his base can be so easily assuaged.
There’s not one ounce of integrity in that administration. If there was they’d resign en masse in protest.
The deplorables will think he’s smart to get away with not paying taxes.

He already boasted about paying no taxes during the Clinton debates.

It's a witch hunt...but with real witches.

Media has begun to set up cameras and equipment outside of the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C. They have been told a grand jury will convene shortly associated with the Mueller investigation. (Note: Michael Cohen is also in town with his legal team)

His twitter feed is quite interesting. ;)

You may want to double up on the hand cream

No need! I’m going to be using the viscous emulsion of Bill Mitchell’s rage spittum and Jacob Wohl’s tears.

Some interesting points in the replies there. Notable right wing commentators like KimDotCom all went silent on Nov 8th, as did Jill Stein.

Interesting thoughts re: Corsi, Italy and a meeting he attended there, Cohen was also in Italy and showed up in Washington for interviews with Mueller as Corsi was being interviewed and announced he’s expecting an indictment to come soon.

Speculated that Cohen is blowing the Russia collusion wide open and being an invaluable source of truth to beat the likes of Corsi and Stone with.
