I bet he attempts to create a narrative to get the base to rally around a Sept 1 “deadline”.
 
Sadly I see this being the reality after the investigation.
 
Again, Trump and Nunes do not think through consequences of their actions: the former because he can't think past lunch and the latter because his only role in life is a lackey to a likely temporary president.

There are, however plenty of GOP congressmen who very much understand. And they're the real scum.

I don't see how he couldn't be at this point. After all that business with him sneaking into the White House in the middle of the night, then leaking that private info on Senator Warner, and now demanding confidential information that appears in the press shortly afterwards, he must be under investigation surely.

He’s actually perfectly right in general. I suspect he’s probably also right about his own situation, I’ve no doubt a lot of inaccuracies or straight up falsehoods have been reported.

Yeah I realised this a while ago. The only way he is going anywhere is if he's voted out. Or if they arrest his kids and charge them with something that's carries a lengthy stretch in prison. It would also have to be something that he can't just pardon them for.
 
If it wasn't for the public being deliberately misinformed, Cohen's client wouldn't be President.
