It's an incredible breach of security, its not as if he's leaking information that the investigation isn't aware of.

What he has done has worked in his favor so far, but there are limits to his antics. Hopefully he knows what those limits are.
I get the feeling that Avenatti's end game is to be, along side Mueller, the man who helped take down Trump.

Just as with Comey there is a race to be the one who strikes the fatal blow - a potential pitfall for Avenatti, who is probably just a shade less clever than he thinks he is. In other news the NYC AG Schneiderman resigns ahead of an investigation into his treatment of women; an event that will likely have Trump-linked ramifications. It was he who prosecuted the Trump fake University, and might have had a role in the investigation of Cohen.
Not sure why this is wow necessarily. Seems evidence of this pay to play scheme has been evident in virtually anything the man does. Of course getting it to a point where it can be directly proven and holds up in court would be huge. Seems to me its also the most logical reason for Trump to come crashing down - if only because he has seemingly been so blatant about it with the use of his properties in particular.

Does he though? I still don’t think he’s made a bad play. Even this latest stuff with the Cohen “leaks” he’s getting heat for. It’s the leakers issue rather than his, he’s doing all he can for his client and winning.

True he hasnt done anything bad till now. But he shouldnt be going overboard with all this. All he and his client need to do is stay a little patient and wait for Trump's team to just implode. Everyday someone from the Trump team is shooting themselves in the foot.

Yeah I’d imagine this happened shortly after it was leaked to the press that they had evidence that the meeting was organised by Nader and they knew what was discussed. Just to make him think twice about perjuring himself.
Hopefully this ends the standoff. There was a lot of talk that this was part of a concerted effort by Nunes and the WH to expose key evidence and in the process deflate the Mueller investigation by way of those under investigation destroying evidence before it could be used in the case.
I think he's pressing their buttons so much and so well that there's really nothing to lose. His client is a porn star, it's not like they can be shamed into submission. Trump is the one standing on the tightrope, I think Avenatti has been throwing him off balance very well. We already know that Trump is likely watching this guy on TV every single day, seething in anger and ready to explode.
