I havent watched them often but i dont think they do. From what i know they had Godin combined with someone else for the last few seasons.

Maybe Simeone is thinking about a change of formation? Or maybe he will teach Trippier how to defend and turn him into a world class right back?

It’s Trippiers pace and physicality that’s the problem, when he has a dedicated DM or a midfield that can hold the ball his defensive frailties aren’t as apparent. I think is Spain where the game is more technical he will do well, he is a good footballer.
