Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Ashley Young.
Fully expect that is Ashley Young.
"It’s understood a move nearly materialised in January and when it didn’t Ed Woodward actually apologised to the player for denying him a transfer."
My thoughts too. Can't think of anyone else Mourinho would've sanctioned to go in January.

Recall reading in one of the fanzines that we effectively priced his fee too high. Mourinho values his versatility and professionalism so wasn't in a rush to get rid for a basement price.

Imagine, as the article says, if he isn't getting too much game time come January we'll let him go then. Still think he'll make some appearances here and there this season, particularly in the cups.

Schelotto :lol::lol::lol: @Peyroteo @Sly @SCP

Oh, i have stories on his transfer from atalanta to inter back then...:lol::lol::lol:

Premier League keep going strong in their effort to get mugged by european clubs :lol:

Chelsea are going for players that want to play for other clubs due to play time or position preference. Barkley would never start at Chelsea and Ox doesnt want to play as a wingback. Spurs and Liverpool are better choices

Not sure how much Arsenal will feel they have lost. They didnt seem at all interested in selling sanchez. Then on transfer day they seem to concoct some 100m deal for someone who doesn't want to join them (which teams usually figure out before bidding...who doesn't figure that out first?!).

That way the fans cant say they 'aren't willing to spend the money'. Didnt they do this last summer as well?

Feels like they've been a circus in the market for a fair few summers now.

This is working out brilliantly for us, must say. All our rivals are losing out on their deadline targets. Spurs the only ones coming out of this looking good.

Oh, and of course Liverpool who were 'never interested in Lemar' anyway.

Sanchez must be livid. :lol:
