Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Qatar poverty? you surely don't know Qatar :D. Income per capita.

The fact that the very rich are so rich that the net income is high doesn't erase poverty.

Varela set to move back to Uruguay.

Always thought he was absolutely crap.

"After how badly he was treated in Frankfurt"? Lad's living on his own planet. They stuck by him through a year of injuries and wanted to keep him until he fecked it up for himself.

Eurgh, another player with a 'Twitter team' like Michy Batshuayi it seems. At least in Mendy's case it's probably slightly more believable that he is behind it than Michy... Michy could barely speak a word of English in a post-match interview last season.

To be fair the amount of stuff he posts to Instagram that he films it's probably him on twitter as well. Think he's just a bit of a laugh.

Clearly puss a player out then ask for 50mil is being rich coming from Chelsea. Add to the fact Atletico can't use him for half a season & he is on expensive wage to attract as much interest from other clubs. Don't forget his difficult character that not many club can handle.

If Barca comes calling, Coutinho would kick up a fuss, he's no Slippy G. Lpool would probably be forced to sell

Except they wouldn't. They could just keep him and worst case scenario he refuses to train or play and risks destroying his career. Liverpool can't replace Coutinho regardless so better to take the risk that he'll let it go.

Sure, "Sporting reasons". I bet it's because Monaco have received a huge offer for him.
From reading the article, he's on about the player, saying that Mbappe wouldn't move for money. Mbappe would be able to make just as much if he stayed at Monaco another year as he'd be given a bigger contract.

Exactly, the article isn't well translated. He said that Mbappé has to put the sporting project at the top of his priorities.

Edit: They also didn't put the rest of the quotes, he said that of course he wants him to stay and they are discussing, Mbappé is solicited and he needs to take the right decision(for himself). It can't only come from the club.

It might only be a matter of time.

The way things are going, in the next 10 to 15 years, every top European club will be owned by an oil rich tycoon, an oil rich country or the big Chinese conglomerates.
Theres not an endless supply of oil etc also with new technology could render oil a cheap commodity who knows

yes, but let me put it this way. There are no Qatari nationals what so ever in poverty, every qatari citizen has tremendous financial help from the goverment just because of birthrights as qatari. And there are no immigrants or foreigners staying in qatar without a work permit. All together the possibility of finding people sleeping on the streets in Qatar is 0.

Dybala is a much better player a good choice by Barcelona, although watching Liverpool lose there star man would of been fun =(

Coutinho's comfortably a better player right now imo. Feel like Dybala is quite overrated. Most likely Barca's 3rd choice behind Coutinho and Dembele. Dybala's younger (not that much, just 2 years) though so he might become better I guess.

Except signing Dybala is going to be about as easy as signing Veratti, probably more difficult as he doesn't actually want to leave. Good luck with that.

Two Italian newspapers (who are generally both shite) state a Spanish club has ended their interest in a Brazlian player of an English team. Okay then.

My friend has lived all his life in Abu Dhabi and I have stayed there numerous times, I can tell you some of the poverty is absolutely disgusting, the immigrants that they get over from East Asian countries like Phillipines/India as cheap construction labour are basically modern day slaves.

My friend says Qatar are worse than Abu Dhabi.

That is another subject, how they treat foreign workers is another subject and I already stated it is disgusting. I feel the admins will not be happy with us deviating from subject of the thread :D.
