Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Did you miss the players we sold in schneiderlin Memphis and janujaz

We also sold Ronaldo, back in 2009. Equally relevant.

The January transfer window is part of the season it splits, not of the next. It's always been that way.

This season our net spend is similar to City's. Januzaj is in fact the only difference of £7-8m.

Sky Sports reporting Morata at £50m while Lukaku is shown as £90m.

Ludicrous.
They always do that. United sign player, price is the euro or $ amount, but quoted in GBP and includes ridiculous add-on's and agent fee's to make it look as high as possible. Other team signs player and the exact opposite is done.

I just find it amusing at this point.

Always strange when posters here moan about how the media portrays United and how they take digs at you. Whereas if you go to literally any opposition forum the unanimous feeling is that you guys are the media darlings who always get preferential treatment.

Did Delaney post the same article twice or did he alter the first attempt?
If he just posted the same thing again then he deserves all the flack he gets

Edit seems he just aided his google traffic which is fair

That's natural with the amount of coverage we get though, no? We simply seem to get more coverage than most, so our fans will focus on the negative press whereas others the most positive.

Why?

I remember travelling round Chile at the time and meeting a Liverpool fan celebrating them "agreeing a fee" for Bacca..befoere him moving to AC shortly after! Never knew how he did there..
Bacca was very good first season and carried Milan really well and all fans liked him. But Milan didnt qualify for Europe that season, and so Bacca ( after having a gentleman agreement with Milan before he signed that they would sell him if they dont make it to europe) asked to leave, and when Milan allowed him to, he only wanted top clubs playing in CL ( some rumours about him going to Arsenal) and wanted a pay increase. No one provided that at the time, some teams like West Ham wanted him and they were in Europe League. He took his time but then decided against joining, and it didnt work out with the other clubs that were interested in him. So he stayed and looked like he doesnt give a shit this past season although he scored some good goals, but had terrible attitude and played with no heart that Milan could have used any other mediocre striker instead and did as good. So yes Milan fans want him out now because he nags so much for something that is basically his fault since he refused to join the clubs that were interested in him, but in his first season in Milan fans really liked him, he was a top player.

I thought he did too but apparently he doesn't from what Amoyal and others have said.

Oh really? Dang sorry for wrong info.

I think it's something to do with France recognising it as part of Europe and Italy not. He doesn't have a french passport but a (I can't remember the word) part of the world that is recognised as French passport.

The window ain't over yet though pep wants 4 more players

That's a good question, their rules confuse me. @giorno
rule is clubs can only add two non-EU players per season to the existing squad(iirc there's no limit to the amount of non-EU players a club can have, only on the amount that can be signed per season).

Juventus right now can't sign Aurier because they already signed Betancur and Douglas Costa. If they sell Betancur(not sure about a loan), than they could sign Aurier

Thanks, so Milan and Inter can sign Aurier at the moment.

That's not even close to what happened. Milan wanted to get rid of him by January of his first season. He's a great finisher, but he's good for a mid-table club, milan wanted to challenge for CL spots and Bacca's nowhere near good enough to get them there. They reckoned they could make good money off him, so they tried to sell him. Player opposed the move because of his wages(and then he wanted to go to PSG, who couldn't sign and weren't particularly interested either)

and no, a lot of milan fans wanted him shipped off by January, too. The sane ones, mostly. Top player and Bacca in the same sentence is an abomination

Lol ... more like Luckhurst is desperate to get clicks.
I think it'd be mad for Spurs to sell to two direct rivals in the same window. I'm still surprised that Walker was allowed to join City, strengthening a problem area for Guardiola.
