In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Imran (@Annihilate Now!) are here to discuss three 1-1 draws.
The first got us knocked out of the FA Cup, the next puts us in a good position in our Round of 16 Europa League game, and the latest was an actual decent performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
All hopes for the season now rest on the Europa League - does Amorim have the squad to win it?

It underlines the reasons why you "support" the club. Follow would be a more apt description, really. It's all very superficial.
Once he starts to make absolutely outrageous saves, then they'll be changing their minds about this. De Gea is just absolute class. Probably one of the greatest goalkeepers i've ever seen, and look how old he is.
Or he has a bit of a shaky start, and the supporters destroy him for it.
The Madrid derby will be interesting though, i wonder how the Athletico supporters will greet him

Madrid have some weird fans, weren't they chanting for De Gea during the unvieling of a player earlier this summer? One great performance from Navas and suddenly they don't want De Gea anymore!

I agree and I'm gutted to see him go. Really like him and really do wish him all the best. But its just an interesting insight into (1) how highly they rate Navas and (2) how low they seem to currently rate De Gea.
I agree. If he starts to fail under pressure then he'll be destroyed by the fans a la Bale last season at times, but I don't think he will have any issues. The spanish league is very favourable for goalkeepers. They get so much protection from referees for example.

The one thing that was said about DDG when he joined was that he was unflappable and supremely confident. He went to a new country as a young man and was instantly written-off etc and look how it turned out.
