I think we are odds on to sign Otamendi, Schneiderlin and with Gundogan's talks with Bayern & Barca breaking down, we very well may sign him as well.
Not sure about Alves, today he was quoted as wanting to sign for Milan....no one with ambition does that these days. Fair play to him wanting to chill out in the Serie A while moving towards the twilight of his career, he could probably play RB for Milan till he is almost 40 like Cafu.

I'd be absolutely thrilled if we get those first three you mention.

I think Otamendi and Schneiderlin are ours if we simply pay the respective release clauses.

Gundogan had reportedly agreed personal terms with MUFC a month ago before his head was turned Bayern & Barca...now that he cannot seem to come to an agreement with them, I think we have a fair shot at him as well.

Depay, Schneiderlin, Otamendi and Gundogan (and a RB) would be our best transfer summer in a long time if not ever. All are gettable as well.

Hopefully we'll show him the colour of our money. I've still got pipe dreams of him, Schneiderlin and Herrera turning out for us in a midfield three next season.

I would be delighted with that. Would really fancy us to kick on and play some great football. Gives us loads of options for midfield and up top.

Wouldn't cost loads either

Depay 25m
gundogun 25m
schneiderlin 25m
otamendi 35m
rb? 15m?

125m

Outs

Nani 5m
hernandez 5m
rvp 10m
fellaini 15m
evans 5m

40m

Obviously a gk could leave and come in as well...

They really need to get a move on if they want the work done early!

It takes two to get a deal done. While we might have the urgency you cannot avoid clubs trying to play around and drive player prices by inviting multiple bids especially if United get involved.

Yup. Like the Depay deal, for example.

Memphis' deal was not like that? PSV told his agent how much they wanted and Memphis had full freedom to pick a club, PSV would accept any 30m+ offer. MUFC only enquired once and didn't make contact afterwards but van Gaal knew everything he needed at that point, the deal was done within 2 days.

I think Juventus, if Tevez goes, might be our best bit of offloading van Persie if we want to.

Not sure what Tevez is on but 1m a month is a lot for how tight Juve are surely?

This will be our biggest problem with offloading RVP, I think Nani to is on a big wage.. dare I say Rooney to if we wanted to get rid...?

He is surely willing to lower is wage. If he doesn't do it now, one season on the bench will drastically hit his wage ambitions.

He'd obviously have to take a pay cut to join Lazio, same will have to happen at Juventus although perhaps to a lower extent.

I think if RvP is looking towards playing a major role in Euro 2016 then he would lower his wage demands.

To be honest I wouldn't mind having him stick around mentoring a young forward like Wilson as well as playing a few games. I believe he can still contribute. In my opinion he's still the best center forward at the club in terms of hold up play and finishing.

Tuttosport | Bayern offer €15m for Torino's Kamil #Glik and they're in talks with his agent Jaroslav Kolakowski. ManCity leading the race.

Samir Handanovic’s agent says the goalkeeper won’t join Manchester United, as he’s ‘close’ to a new Inter deal.

#Inter are reportedly preparing a bid to sign #CFC winger Juan Cuadrado on loan until a permanent move in 2016.

Mundo Deportivo: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez 'desperate' to tie up De Gea deal as soon as possible
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Real Madrid are desperate to seal a deal for David de Gea as soon as possible.

They say Madrid president Florentino Perez will meet with agent Jorge Mendes today in an attempt to hurry the deal along.

The paper also report an offer of between €35m-€40m is thought to be enough to secure the Manchester United keeper's services.

"De Donut". fecking hi-la-rious.
I haven't heard the Mirror use that one before. Seriously, seriously clever. Thank feck that we live in such a golden age of unrivalled prose. My heart bleeds for those unfortunate masses who had to make do with Kipling and the like.

Really. Absolutely marvellous. Really really really really really good.

Bunch of fannies.

I'll sell him for that much. Should be enough to replace him with Lloris without going in the red in the balance sheet in addition to the loss in quality that the team will suffer.

Also, it has gone awfully quite in terms of incoming transfers. I was expecting at least some concrete links with some players to start to appear by now. So far there has only been links with Benzema and Alves. Benzema ones have been shot down before they could gather pace and Alves seems to be making noises about Milan.

This is BS how exactly is Mendes going to 'hurry us along'?

We are as valuable to Mendes as Madrid are, he needs to keep us on side just as much.

Paying top money, or giving us a player is the only thing that should 'hurry' this one up.
