I've seen him kick a football into the goal on occasions very competently. And he's got good hair.Well Liorente would offer a size but (and i'm saying this without having watched him for ages), he just seems to have not made the step up. At Bilbao he looked like he would get into the Spanish team but I don't know what's happened to him. That said, with the Spanish players we have - you never know. He might do well. I guess we'll have to see if there's any truth to it

Why would Real make an agreement with DDG for those figures? He wants to go there and nowhere else, he's had a much richer contract than they will likely offer him on the table from us for ages and not signed it in all that time - why would Real be even remotely worried about him not joining them, never mind to the extent that you offer him a €15 million promise to sign him by a certain time when he's so set on joining them?

If we pay 42mil for Ramos we should be getting minimum 30 for De Gea. By rights, I think it should be a straight swap (24yo with 1 year = 29yo with 2) but I realise that doesn't seem likely.
Either way, I won't be too upset. It's not my money and it won't make the tickets or jerseys I buy any different in price. De Gea was always going anyway so we may as well get a good centre back and weaken Madrid in the process.
