PSG will win Ligue 1 next season (and the next etc)
PSG will NOT win the CL next season (or in the near future)

If a player currently wants to play for PSG in the prime years of his career, he has a lack of ambition other than to count his Ligue 1 trophies

Just read it's a sports magazine over there.

As much as I'd like to believe this, the idea of Ramos helping Perez to manage the fans unrest in order to engineer a move because he is unhappy with Perez's management seems unlikely.

or the idea of a call between Sergio Ramos and Louis van Gaal

Not entirely.
Ramos will still care about the club so if Perez has told him he can leave, just after the current beef has died down, I think he'd respect that.

This is among the stupidest things this summer

ring ring

SR: Hi Louis, It's Sergio

LvG: Hi Sergio, when are you coming?

SR: Can you wait a bit? The fans are upset we got rid of the player they were booing.

LvG: Am I even supposed to be talking to you? How did you get my airplane seat's number?

SR: click

@DesiBD On the topic of de Telegraaf:
http://www.telegraaf.nl/telesport/v...61425/__Van_Gaal_aast_ook_op_Argentijn__.html - Manchester United closing in on signing 35m Euro Gaitan.

They also literally (and wrongly) translated van Gaal's words during the unveiling with Memphis into a headline 'Van Gaal shocks United fans', claiming he's not after a striker. We all know he just doesn't give information on transfers, so they can be very misleading and therefore it's not worth posting their tweets unless you've read the article. It's difficult to see wether they have real sources or not without reading them and people posting tweets of de Telegraaf usually pick the speculation headlines.

Ramos will care about the club and the fans. He's unlikely to care about helping Perez manipulate the fans.

They're just like Daily Mail I see. Headlines like those makes you wonder how they hit a home run with the 3 signings before Monday story.

In all honesty I don't see adm wanting to leave. Specially after the success of our window till now (the signings and the Madrid affair) I would doubt we would sell adm and that too just breaking even. Woody is on fire and he will loot PSG even if we sel. Plus arm himself has repeated multiple times that he wants to stay.

OK.. I believe you.. Give us Ronaldo.. Let's see how you guys fare with 60 less goals..

Edit: Just saw a lot of others have also made the Ronaldo jibe.. But in my defense, I did not see them before.. :wenger: So please consider this an original attempt.. :p

And the best of it is we're still about £44 million away from spending the yearly income from our new sponsorship deals (Adidas & Chevy)

Chevy 1 season: £53m
Adidas 1 season: £75m
Total: £128m

We've spent so far (if reports are presumably correct);
Depay: £31m
Darmain: £13m
Schweinsteiger £15m
Scheniderlin £25m
Total: £84m

Summary: We're rich!

Throw in Aon which is about £19m a year along with the official brand partner deals. I bet all those little deals combined cover our interest payments

Jezus why does it keep getting reported as £31m, we paid them lot £23m and not a penny more (and part of that is in performance related add-ons). The 31m figure is in euros, BBC is the only source reported it like that and they are wrong, PSV said they BBC fee is wrong themselves and all other sources have it down as £23m.

Schweinsteiger is also a bit less (£14m)
Schneiderlin is reported at £23.8m

So all in all that is about £10m less than what you got us down for

So good news were even richer !

Madrid signed Ronaldo, Kaka, Alonso and Benzema in 2009. That has some wow value.
Their reward was the mighty Copa del Rey. Long terms, it was one league title and 1 CL. Last time I checked, transfers were done to help you actually win stuff. I understand you are talking more about the profile of the transfers but I think it is very odd to celebrate transfers outside of what they're actually meant to achieve.

That Zoco post don't even make sense. United have lost big name players - lost Ronaldo for feck sake..Madrids best player, and were still successful.
