how on earth could Sterling be a £49m player while PSG think Di Maria is a £47m player.

The thought of selling him is a silly one anyways.

Di Maria wants to move and if they bid enough, he will be gone unfortunately.

I cant imagine that he liked it here in his first season, he just doesnt get along in England and in the PL. Plus Van Gaal is a special type of manager, i imagine Di Maria having problems to adapt.

Everybody thinking different is kidding himself. He said he will stay etc., but once they agree a fee and wages, he will be in Paris.

11 assists says otherwise.

The only way I'd be happy to sell him to PSG is if they offer Verratti + cash.

If we got close to what we paid for Di Maria I would definitely look into it, albeit it, if there is an adequate replacement to bring in (Not Gaitan )

He seems unhappy, him as a CM doesn't really fit our tika system, and if he has another hit and miss season next season, then his value would plummet.

Thats not me saying we should definitely sell him, but if the right offer comes in, I'd definitely consider it

Yep and the 1000 times he lost the ball and couldnt get past a man/benched by Young tell another story too.

Plus all the private life thing didnt help.

Yes that he had some bad form and thats all it really says tbh

Doubt it and PSG would still pay us big bucks for him, seems like Pep and Bayern also rate him and they like him at Barca too

Even a straight swap might do. Verratti is easily a 50m player and we overpayed last season for Di Maria.

If they don't give us in return, then we should aim for 60m+ (pounds), if we are willing to sell them. PSG have money.

The problem then will be how to replace him. Try Reus for a very large amount of money, try to break world record for Muller, or replace him with some non-superstar player who can do the job (like Pedro Rodriguez). Interesting!

I'd absolutely hate to sell him, but if he and his family are determined to move on (which goes against everything he has said publicly, however much faith you can put in those comments) then I might regrettably accept that.

What I would not accept however is the suggestion of selling him to a fecking sugar daddy club at less than we bought him for - with FFP dying then we'd have to drag-out of them at least what we paid Real, if not more. The cnut owner of PSG can afford it.

He's already stated multiple times he wants to stay and wanting to make history here.

Exactly being burgled while his wife and child were in the house would have been terrifying, its bound to have messed his confidence up.Im hoping he's not going to be robbed every season.

If he goes it needs to be for more than we paid for him or at least with Verratti as part of the deal.

Me too. I am not saying i want him sold, but i can see it happening once PSG pay up. Verrratti should be included in the deal.

Van Gaal is ruthless. Sold Van Persie, not prolonged with Falcao. Bad form or not, if you dont deliver and we can get the money back, he will sell. Plenty of wingers there.
He said he wants to stay.

If someone asked you that, you would say that too. Why would he say he wants to leave, at that time no one showed interest. I am pretty sure he said the same last year at Real too.

He's already stated multiple times he wants to stay and wanting to make history here.

What else should he say? He is here at the moment and it could be also next season. Why say he wants out when no one was able to afford him? Now that PSG can spend and are interested, there is a possibility of him wanting to move.

I am not saying i want him to go or he will go certainly, but if PSG pay 60m, does anybody really think we wont sell him and he wouldnt want the move? Why risk another season like that, he still hasnt showed a slight adaption to LVG's system.

Unless we're receiving the same fee, as what we paid for him and have a replacement lined up (not Gaitan), we simply have to hold onto di Maria.

He has far too much quality to not give him a second season.

Jawha!? Jesus Mary and Joseph, if that's true we can add "occasional ninja" to Woody's bio.

What..... nooooo the sneaky feckers I'm gonna loose my shit if this is true brilliant Woody!
