That Omid guy said it was fake before, not been on it myself.

Your right, I found another one who says it the official one, with lots of serious football pictures of him. But the profile in question looks really personal. If "fake", it must be his girlfriend, friend or a family member.

 top work

£11,3m, Woody is taking the piss here  the weak Euro is really helping us in this case.
That's actually a price for buying a talented defender from a much smaller club. Less talented English players go for much more. :(

6 years? how the hell do teams tie these players to that length of deal? We seem to be opting for 4 years these days.

We pay better wages so it's more of a gamble for us, if Vietto doesn't light it up at Atletico it isn't too bad for them. We on the other hand have seen what giving a 5 year contract to Nani does for his resale value.

It's a risk reward situation though, if the player does perform you have less room to negotiate the extension when they only have a 4 year deal.

Fener hopeful of RVP deal.

We are all hopeful!

Valdes got 2+1, Memphis got a 4+1 deal so I guess that will be our new policy since we can't really lower our wages that much. It's a risk-reward scenario indeed but I can understand it from an economical pov, we can always offer extensions/upgrades with the best wages if we need to. Not many players will say no to this unless their priority isn't money.

I think the Valdes one made sense given his age, but I'd like to have seen Memphis on a 5 + 1 year contract, I guess the main key will be starting the negotiations on new deals sooner then we have been, this waiting until the last year stuff is not a good idea IMO.
