Good. I know he only has a year left on his deal but this isn't just any player. He's imo the second best keeper in the world and he has over ten years left of his career. Real should have to pay a fee worth his ability and potential longevity.

This may not even be true but it's what Madrid need to be seeing in the press. Give us a big chunk of money for one of the best keepers in the world or go feck yourselves. Much better than the spineless "De Gea plus €30million for Ramos" stories going around.

F***ing Woody.... This is how you do it. He's gone about being difficult, getting the fee we deserve and unsettling the Madrid squad while he's at it. We should, at the very least, keep tapping up Madrid's players and offering to double their wages at OT. I think that you overestimate the importance of more spaniards in the team. At this moment we can get De Gea ,Otamendi and keep Ramos or you can get all of them Exactly, just keep throwing money every year and see if something sticks . Bale & Kroos next summer , Varane &Hames summer after that.
If we don't get Ramos I do think we will go for Otamendi, so it would be difficult for you to get him
