Then why the hell is it posted in the transfer forum?

Now that Nialls new system is implemented I want to scroll through actual transfer tweets not some load of irrelevant shite that some random twat tweeted
It did seem an odd place to put. It isn't as though Ander doesn't have his own thread.:)

His agent will squeeze each of the big clubs for the biggest fee. Can't see us buying him as he would easily cost twice as much as the next best option.

He'll be a beast for Chelsea after we spent the season getting him up to speed. I never felt he was that bad for us anyway, we never supplied him with chances.

No we did and he generally fluffed them

He'll be second choice behind Costa, I wouldn't be worried about him going there whatsoever

That would just be depressing.

Falcao should go somewhere where he has a realistic chance of becoming first choice. No way will he be ahead of Costa in the pecking order. Then again maybe he's happy being second choice.

A return to Atletico Madrid would seem ideal. They aren't delighted with Mandzukic's goal returns, and Falcao has a very successful history with the club. Even if Simeone does sign Vietto, he's rather young and wasn't a guaranteed starter for Villarreal either.

He'd have to take a wage cut I imagine.

We have sold Ruud and he was scoring for us, but we started playing a lot better when we got different kind of striker.

It is the same with Falcao, he can do great at Chelsea, but he just isn't an LVG type of striker and he can't work in such a system.

I was so looking forward to this window but its all gone a bit shit with all our 'targets' turning us down. I hope we have some super secret ones that no one knows about.
At least we already have Depay which i'm more than happy about.
Who's turned us down?

Only if their medical team is far better at getting people through doping tests than they have any right to be.

The want to sign him permanently? I'd be amazed if they went through with it, his limitations in this league post injury were there for all to see this season.

Reduced terms on his £265 K, and £42 million fee will still need to be sky high, maybe £190 K p/wk, and £28 million, I really hope they go through it.

Falcao's had it just like Torres. Would be delighted to see Chelsea pay him over £100k a week on a mid to long term contract. He's not good enough.

I doubt Mourinho sees it that way. If he buys him, he clearly assesses him as good enough irrespective of his form at United. If he knocks 10-15 goals as a Drogba replacement and Costa backup, then it will be well worth it.

I would be happy if Chelsea wasted money on him, I don't know if he will return to his 2011/13 form or not but right now he isn't very good.

I don't think Jose is daft enough to risk wads of cash on Falcao. It's more likely his agent trying to drum up interest by linking him with a big club, like they do with us and Gaitan every summer.

Probably, yes.

They have already allocated a large portion of their wage capital on forwards - Fernando Torres is on a reported £180,000 per week, which is more than the wages of Griezmann, Godin and Gabi combined.

That said, Mendes will somehow find a way to insert Falcao in their team, if the player and the club want a move. Especially if they also want Felipe Luiz.

This is Roman we're talking about here. Plenty of cash available and no FFP issues after having sold the likes of Luiz, Lukaku etc for big fees. If they think Falcao can add depth to their league and CL campaigns, and the player himself is interested in restructuring his wages from 300k to 150k, then there's nothing stopping this from happening.

Falcao just wasn't the right type of striker for our style of football. If he goes to another team and does well, it'll be because the team is built around, something we couldn't offer him. He wasn't bad, he was just useless in this United team. No point in getting upset over it.
