"Surprising that some #MUFC fans still can't accept that Di Maria chose to join PSG given both he & PSG president have stated that publicly."

He did?

They did?

I honestly have no clue what Duncan Castles is talking about half the time. Where does he get his representative United fan opinions from, the Football365 forum?

At first i honestly thought he talked about something that was about to happen this summer, which is why i actually posted the tweet.
Deleted it when i figured it was just another one of his delusional attempts to look cool.

SAF did what he thought was best for the club. Pogba had been inconsistent leading up to the contract negotiations and asking for money what first team players were on, a risky precident to set. Who's to say Pogba would've hit the ground running like he has for Juve, playing for United? We all know Pogba is an amazing talent but he decided it was better to move on, doesn't mean he hates United or anything like that.
Pogba apparently wanted game time, and not massive wages. David Gill has stated that the financial package offered to Pogba was equal to anything Juve were prepared to pay, and that the player's issue was more concerned with SAF promising game-time and not delivering. Pogba even mentioned an incident when the manager after guaranteeing him 45mins, chose to play an aging Ryan Giggs at CM, in a redundant fixture against Blackburn ( due to us having already secured the championship ), leaving him stuck on the bench. The player got frustrated and decided to move on.
In defence of SAF, it's definitely true that Pogba's form, at that time, didn't merit automatic selection, and that many still felt he was some way off being first-team material; but hindsight is a great thing, and it's easy to whinge now he's being discussed as a £50M player. I think he has gone on record saying he has no issue with the club, but he does still harbour some resentment for not being given more of a chance on the pitch.

You mixed something up I believe. Fergie does not guarantee game time, and the game was in December (or actually New Year's Day game?), with Park and Rafael playing in middle.

I'd be very happy with Kane, but for £40m I'm not sure.

We should go for Firminio for <£20m or Lacazette for probably €40m - and we all know how strong the pound is to the Euro at the moment.

BREAKING: UOL reports Santos have offered Gabigol & Gustavo Henrique to Milan, but Milan asked for Lucas Lima. They promised to make a bid.
It's not a big stretch to say Lucas Lima is the best playmaker in Brazil, at the moment. His agent says an English club is after him.

I don't think we can negotiate with Tottenham, the player would have to kick up a huge fuss for it to happen.

That's never going to happen. Apparently, he's one of their own or something.

Exactly, i just can't see it happening. Even with Lloris we would probably have to pay something like 40m, don't think he is worth that at all.

Luckily there is other options, hope Woody don't pursue this too long.

BREAKING: ESPN Brasil reports São Paulo have officially sold Rodrigo Caio to Valencia for €12.5M. Deal was brokered by Jorge Mendes.

BREAKING: Globo Esporte, at the same time, reports São Paulo have closed the deal to sell Rodrigo Caio to Sevilla for €12.5M + €4M bonus.

Same player who was supposed to go to Atletico for €15m a few days ago

Would be a very good signing for them, I have big hopes for this lad. Was a real talent and Groningen and easily became one of the best at Celtic, he really needs to move on soon for his personal sake though. I think he's perfect for the PL and am actually surprised nobody picked him up yet. We Dutchies could use some good defenders too, 'Concrete Ron' isn't getting any younger or less injury prone.

Portuguese reports (A Bola) - #Inter are going back to Manchester United’s Nani after Chelsea blocked Juan Cuadrado.

Meanwhile, Turkish publication ''Fanatik'' (cited by Record) are reporting that new Fenerbahce manager Vitor Pereira will make Nani his first transfer target.

Mike Keegan: Ravel Morrison set to return to England - and QPR - without kicking a ball for Lazio.

Homesick before even playing a single minute for Lazio.

Cabaye to Southampton is a pretty good fit if they lose Schneiderlin. They have to adjust a bit to their playing style but Tiote - Cabaye is not bad for their ambitions.

This guy needs to spend a couple of years out of the game and on government benefits, so he can reflect on what he could have had. What a waste of talent.

Looks like we really did dodge a bullet with that one.

Shows how fragile guys like Ravel really are. They need to have their homeboys around them 24 hours a day to feel tough and popular. They don't last a second out of their comfort zone

Celta Vigo have agreed a deal to bring Liverpool legend Iago Aspas back to the club.
