So who would you want that's realistic ? considering our budget and the options that are available ?
Everyone is saying no thanks like we've got plenty of options.
Ronaldo's salary is £510 net, and around £867 gross or about £45 million per year. If we can get £5-15m transfer fee as well that gives a reasonable budget to work with in saved wages and fees. We would lose around £25m in shirt sales and marketing but that would be counted later. Plus we could actually sell some players, doubtful but possible.
All of these players are better than an over the hill, out of form Dybala. Most with lower wage demands. Prices are from the press not me.
David £43m (Ten Hag likes him according to the dutch press)
Scamacca £43 (if we are quick, we could match PSG's offer (so never going to happen))
De Ketalaere £33 (false 9)
Schick ???? (Doesn't seem to want to move but worth asking to find out)
Osimhen £70 (over priced/De Laurentis is nuts)
Kalajdzic £22 (interesting)
Toney £40 (decent last year in PL)
Isak £75 (over priced)
Broja £30
Ekitike £30
Gouiri ???? £25?
Evanilson ???? £45?
Dembele Lyon £25 (we have always wanted him for some reason)
Depay £20 (international record/dutch/crazy/tattoos/hilarious cars/outfits)
Yussuf Poulsen ???? (basic target man, works insanely hard pressing for the team)
Martinez £58 (doesn't fit EtH but quality finisher)
Werner £30 (doesn't fit EtH but very available)
DCL ???? £85 (over priced, injuries yet still better than Dybala)
Watkins ???? (Great presser, never stops running)
Brereton ???? (Been great for Chile, United lad, left us at 14)
Ben Yeddar ???? (Always 10kg overweight in preseason yet always scores plenty in the season)
It's not like there's no one out there. There will be more that others will know, let alone false 9 options.
EtH has shown he's happy to work with what can be brought in with the money available to the club. Huntelaar, Dolberg, Tadic, Brobbey, and Haller are all hardly world class but he created successful sides with them. Everybody needs to calm down and give Ten Hag a chance to work with the squad.
If Ronaldo wants to go so be it. There's no point in forcing anyone to stay who doesn't want to be here. Ronaldo will be like Cavani last season repeatedly declaring himself unfit and going home to Portugal if he stays. Let Ten Hag find his own solution.
