Not bothered where he goes, just sell him to whoever offers the most money
The Glazers only care about the bottom line.
I’ve thought this through mateYep they’ll want top 4.
You need to think this through.
Think so as well, and would assume Mendes is well aware of that
From the buying clubs perspective, sure. Still far from convinced we'd sell to a PL rival unless offered silly moneyThat new owner at Chelsea wanting him makes more sense than Bayern wanting him imo.

You think they will keep a player here that doesn’t want to be here in any way? You don’t think ETH will have thoughts about this?
If he wants to win the CL, it's not going to be with Chelsea. Maybe Bayern, but they couldn't do it with Lewy, so I don't think Ronaldo would be the difference.

Same reason why our american owners won't let him go to a rivalBoehly loves bringing big names to Los Angeles. The headlines in the US would be nonstop with Chelsea signing CR7. It is a marketing dream for a new owner.

If he makes it clear he wants out and Chelsea is the only option he will go there.Nope. They will likely say to Mendes he can go but not in the PL. Simple.
They aren’t going to fold and strengthen a rival for top 4 for a paltry transfer fee (whilst losing the money Ronaldo brings to the club and devaluing the club status).
Far fetched to say otherwise
Not this Ronaldo. The shines off him at this stage.Boehly loves bringing big names to Los Angeles. The headlines in the US would be nonstop with Chelsea signing CR7. It is a marketing dream for a new owner.
Don't think Ronaldo shares the same enthusiasm for the States.Boehly loves bringing big names to Los Angeles. The headlines in the US would be nonstop with Chelsea signing CR7. It is a marketing dream for a new owner.

Huh?Eriksen deserves his own thread. Great signing and could be our best piece of transfer business the last decade.
If he makes it clear he wants out and Chelsea is the only option he will go there.
They’re saying the opposite because they would prefer not too. They may not have a choice.Disagree. No evidence to suggest the club would sanction that. Quite the opposite infact.

Because whilst they did win the CL two seasons ago, they aren't really in contention. They finished last season very poorly. For him it's about Ronaldo's own legacy, not his legacy at United.
He only cares about his own records and always did.
I really wonder how that could be a surprise to anyone, it was clear all along that he'll be gone without CL.
Why shouldn't he go to Chelsea, he almost went to City last summer...
Chelsea have formally submitted a £15m offer to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s believed Ronaldo would be very open to the move to Stamford Bridge and would like to stay in the Premier League. (Fabrizio Romano)
Utd should rip their hands off you for that. Including wages that’s 40m in our pockets to help buy a suitable replacement.I guess we are about to find out.
I'd sell him for that. If that's the opening offer we might be able to get 17-20 for him.Utd should rip their hands off you for that. Including wages that’s 40m in our pockets to help buy a suitable replacement.

It's insane. 149k likes on the Eriksen tweet posted 3 hours ago.The amount of likes Romano gets on his tweets - especially insignificant updates such as this - is staggering. Many tens of thousands within minutes.
The sheer amount of people with a tab open or an eye on their phone at all times waiting for transfer news with bated breath, is crazy.
True. Seems to be a club who don’t know what they’re doing at the minute. Might even tease 20m and go for 25 at the last minute. Good chance they’ll fall for it. They’re spending 45m on Ake who had 9 league starts last season after allI'd sell him for that. If that's the opening offer we might be able to get 17-20 for him.
What they say publicly is meaningless, see Joan Laporta…Why won’t they have a choice? He’s under contract. We’re getting a fee. The club have insisted he’s not for sale…

He’s literally taken over negotiations from MariaHe was a co owner of the Dodgers, but not the majority owner. He's very far removed from the actual player acquisitions from his time with the Dodgers. And the Dodgers have always brought in big players and big salaries, but they've developed so many good players from their own system...again, not because of Boehly. He's a smart guy and knows investments and acquisitions, but you're all giving him far too much credit in terms of incoming and outgoing for Chelsea.
Acquiring any transcendent sports player is any team's dream, for the most part. But even the owner knows there's a large cost benefit to signing Ronaldo, especially when you consider what Tuchel wants from his squad.
