The most important thing for the club seems to be if the loanees can get regular playing time. Dortmund won't guarantee that, I feel, whilst PSV seems like a better option. With 10 options, though, United should be best placed to find a club that would take Elanga on loan.

Of course, we're lacking in depth now, so Elanga will still get a decent number of minutes with us.

Surely out of 10 clubs at least a few of them would offer him good regular game time. I don't really see the point in keeping him when we have Garnacho, Pellistri and Sancho who can come into the team. Elanga hasn't offered anything when he's come into the team this season. It would be good for him to get some regular game time so we can assess how good he actually is. Think the only reason he hasn't been let go realistically is that he's the only other player besides Weghorst, Martial and Rashford that can play striker, but he's never really performed that role well, so don't think we can actually consider him as an option there.

Arsenal absolutely gunning for Caciedo it seems. Wonder if they see themselves as being most attractive this window given the season they're having/how none of us, Liverpool or City seem to be in a position to compete?

They are also in a position where they know CL next season is almost a certainty and can plan accordingly. Other than City others can't work on the same assumption.

Knowing IT clubs dealings, they'd be wanting us to cover 75% of his wages and throw in some Italian salami and packet of crisps for his loan fee!

If there's no obligation to buy, absolutely zero point.
Reports came out that they have 0 money to spend in the summer because of their owners not being allowed to invest.
Complete waste of time

We aren’t getting anyone in are we? Was hoping we would get a late addition to bolster our midfield options as we’ve got no squad player even close to Casemiro’s ability

Surprised Ornstein's exclusive hasn't made it here yet....even better it's an incoming transfer too

Maguire + Pineapple Pizza and they can sent Barella in our way.
I hope the new owners block all mails for Italian clubs. Straight to junk.

Cancelo gone to Bayern on loan. I'd love to see him score against Citeh in the CL for maximum troll value

You’ll have to wait until next season for that, surely??
Nope, the rules are different in the CL. The test case was with someone from Atleti on loan from Chelsea, I think. I think it was Cortois when Chelsea was planning on replacing Cech with him but just not yet.

We then had Coutinho playing and scoring (IIRC) against Barcelona when he was on loan at Bayern.

So the fantasy is very much alive

Interesting. Possibly.

Does that mean there can be no clause to
Prevent it like in England? As I understand, clubs in England, especially when loaning to each other will regularly put in clauses about not playing against their parent club (might even be an FA rule) and also not playing in cup competitions either.

I presume that city can still do the same as an agreement of the loan deal. Unless that is not allowed

From what I remember the standard clause was there for the Chelsea deal but Atletico appealed and won. So it's one of those things you can put in a contract but it is illegal under UEFA. Only a gentleman's agreement can get round it or some such.

Yeah why we haven't tried to get Gravenberch or Aouar on loan just to improve our midfield options

Hopefully a good loan for Charlie. Hes not there physically yet and this could be just the ticket

Well, getting clogged by League Two centre halves in farmers fields should be character building if nothing else.

Inters loan for Maguire isnt probably worth even entertaining as much as people want him gone. More benefit having him in the squad.

No Italian outlets have corroborated this information. Tutto Mercato Web have been the only one to report this by just referring to the Daily Mail's report and not providing any more info. Furthermore, Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin (Tier 4) Tweeted this out:

Psg-Skriniar:
Awaiting a raise from Paris, two clarifications:
  • Despite rumours from the English media, Inter were never interested in Maguire.
  • The track is not easy but the interest in Demiral is concrete.

Official: Ondrej Mastny joins Portadown FC on loan until the end of the season
