Beşiktaş club president Ahmet Nur Çebi on Weghorst:
With the victories over Adana Demirspor and Kasımpaşa, we caught a good mood again. In this critical period, I will not leave the team without a striker. If we agree on the terms after getting a quality striker, we will send Weghorst away. Otherwise, Weghorst will stay in the team.

Tier 1:

Valencia are in the race for Facundo Pellistri. They like the player very much, it remains to be seen if Manchester United will let him go.
Valencia have approached Manchester United about the loan with option to buy Facundo Pellistri.

There is also interest from Bologna and Flamengo.

He prioritises staying in England. Meeting in the next few hours with United.

Partial translation:

Valencia prioritises signing a defensive midfielder, but they'll still aim to get Pellistri as they're short of wingers.

Tier 3:

There's a ton of publicised interest in Pellistri at the moment. This could be a good opportunity for United to up his value and make a nice profit off of him if they aren't that keen on keeping him around.

or just play him since he's playing better than 200m euros worth of talent

EtH wants to keep him around so be interesting to see how this plays out - there’s a player in there & it’d be in our best interests to keep him

Well for that to happen I feel he needs to get in front of Elanga on the bench while Sancho is out

100m + Daniel Levy tax for a 30 yo Kane

Thanks but no thanks

When I hear that figure being touted by Ornstein, Ducker, Luckhurst & Whitwell then I will panic and would be time to look at alternative targets such as Vlahovic/Osimhen/Sesko instead

I'm pretty sure that him personally not wanting to go to the Championship is how he ended up warming the bench for Alaves. Going to Valencia to be a rotation option isn't going to help his career at this point.

Think given the limitations of what we could do financially Weghorst is about as good as what we could have expected this month so I'll take that. What is actually positive though is getting him in now rather than scrambling to complete it in the last few days of the window as we have in previous years. Are we actually becoming competent?

Now imagine if we pay the compensation then Burnley decides to say no to our loan

Agree on most of above except he should have been in 12 days ago if we were really competent.

I m kind of impressed that we did tbf. Usually we have issues dealing with one club. But now we managed to do it with two. Maybe we are indeed improving in the transfer department?

I think we were banking on Atletico moving on unrealistic loan fee demands for Felix. Once it was apparent they wasn’t going to move enough, we switched targets and gave Chelsea a free run.

"Strain on cashflow" means absolutely nothing if there is new ownership in the next 2-3 months. I don't know where we are with FFP, but we have some players we need to sell this summer and we're due to sign new sponsorship deals too.

A firesale was long overdue anyways. Too many average players in the squad that need to either be released or sold.

We just need a good midfielder that has the legs and the passing range to partner Casemiro. Doesn't have to be the highest of highest quality.

The 100% focus must be on the striker.

Well, Woodward has gone so it's possible.
