They hire Woodward, Richard Arnold, promote the likes of Murtough etc. The tone and culture of the club starts with them and they set the direction. They don't have a fecking clue what they are doing.

When you consider what's happening I think the reality is that the club doesn't have the money Arnold said was available at the pub. The lack of investment cannot be some "strategy" to not overpay because the club overpaid for Martinez.
And the Glazers gave themselves £33M in dividens this year when we are in dire need of upgrades, let that sink in.
