Why are Barca even bothering, or Journalists even bothering linking them? They just failed to get Stefan Bajectic on loan because they couldn't afford the deal. On a loan. But they are going to fork out 20-25M for a permanent transfer? They shifted Roque and Lenglet out on loans, and Faye and Gundogan permanently, but still couldn't even register Olmo due to Financial Regulations. In the end the only way they were able to register Olmo was because Christensen suffered a fairly serious achilles injury, keeping him out for at least four months, and they are allowed to use 80% of his salary allowance to register a replacement player. So those four outgoings, plus Christensen not being registered, is enough (just) to register Olmo. They didn't even have enough space left to register a fringe player on loan from Liverpool, but 20M for Tah....no problem! Registrations? Bah! Who needs 'em?
