The main thing is, they had talent and quality at disposal, not Maguire, Fred, McT, VDB and similar. Quality is always in demand, whether that's footballers or eggs, the market is pretty simple.
A lot of this is from selling youth players and a big part of this is from them just getting a free few hundred million to spend on youth development and scouting.
