Official: Newcastle United sign Tino Livramento from Southampton on a 5-year contract

Tier 1:

Oh dear, Lopetegui was the only ray of hope left for Wolves I feel. With him gone they're in big trouble. Already lost their 3 best players and don't have a striker (and they couldn't even score goals with one)
Exactly my feelings. I think Lopetegui feels this the squad was already weak and they were close to relegation last season.

Now they've sold Neves and Collins and have only add a young CDM from France and Doherty. They're going to struggle big time to stay up.

Source (Tier 2):

Nottingham Forest have tried to recruit Youssouf Fofana
  • The English side are ready to make a written offer to ASM, but the player, who has other offers on the table, has closed the door.
  • West Ham still there

Official: Angelo Gabriel joins Strasbourg on loan. There is no purchase option in the deal. Note: Strasbourg and Chelsea share the same ownership

So Arsenal buys a backup goalie for 30m. This part of the premier league is getting more than silly. In other leagues a backup goalie with more or less the same attributes would cost around 3-5m. Silly, just silly.

Can we interest Palace in a Dean Henderson? England international of recent vintage and still in good condition, although grumbles and is slightly temperamental if not used for some time...

Why are you so confident of that
He'd have to give up his quest for the PL goalscoring record at least for a few seasons, he's not any more likely to win a CL with Bayern, his joining Bayern wouldn't make any difference towards winning the Bundesliga because they win it every year and the standard of the league is getting worse every year, his daughter is about to be born and moving country at this time wouldn't make much sense, he can decide to join basically any club he wants at the end of his contract including Bayern, he can claim he stayed with Spurs all the way to the end of his contract and didn't leave them high and dry with their new manager joining, he can get a massive signing on fee by simply waiting a year and clubs would be more likely to offer him a bigger wage without needing to pay a transfer alongside it. Basically joining Bayern makes no sense for Kane in any way, only for the people trying to get money for him at Spurs.
