Because of both Crystal Palace and Brighton's interest, Fulham's idea of waiting for Sanusi's price to drop below €20m may not necessarily work out.

I'm super interested to see how Inter and Chelsea work this one out because one side will have to concede to the other in this stand off about compensation.

Yeah Phillips isn’t really good enough. Spending 50 million on him would be ridiculous.

Brighton will look to maintain the £50m asking price amid Manchester City's interest in Cucurella.

  • Newcastle United are willing to pay Koundé's release clause.
    • Koundé, however, prefers to join Barcelona and has informed Sevilla accordingly.
  • Barcelona are aware that Sevilla would be willing to accept 65-70 million Euros for Koundé.
    • They also accept that they can't compete with Newcastle given their financial situation.

Newcastle are already annoying

Slonina to Chelsea. It is very likely that after the match against DC United the goalkeeper will undergo a medical examination and sign for the Blues. He would stay until the end of the season, on loan. The Madrid deal, as we said, falls because of the economic offer.

So, up to £15M for an unknown goalkeeper who's never played a game, but Dean Henderson, proven PL keeper, they were only talking about £20M? How's that then?
Bazunu had a ton of hype about him when made his debut for Ireland as a teenager. That hype has remained since then, especially after his great performance against Portugal, and that's what's driving his price up along with the regular football that he's had in the lower leagues. With Dean Henderson, the hype on him came relatively later, and he also barely played last season. If he was out on loan last season, his price may have been higher.

The article about Henderson also covers West Ham's current situation.
  • West Ham hope to sign Areola for £11m.
    • Fulham were also interested in Areola but are unlikely to afford his wages.
  • Aguerd fee: €35m (£30.2m)

Didn't know that but Henderson is also on circa £100k a week and I'm sure this guy will be on nowhere near that.

We had two summers where we could have got good money for Henderson and unless he has a stellar loan move that possibility may have gone.

It's not just that one performance. He hasn't put a foot wrong at International level since he came in and is Ireland's number 1 now. He's very self assured, never looks fazed and is excellent with the ball at his feet. Hopefully, he continues to improve and looks at home in the PL.

Yeah, exactly. He's one of the most talented young goalkeepers in the world if not the most talented. I think he'll be worth every bit of that £15m that Southampton can likely pay up to.
