You've got to admire a team who can move this quickly to replace their players. Cucurella's been gone a week and they've already agreed a deal for the replacement.
We had 6 senior players' contracts expire at the end of June and we're still waiting. It was even a well known fact most of them were leaving long before that.
We would never get £60m for a player because most of them are on 100 grand a week before they've even achieved anything in the game. There’s nothing particularly admirable about it. And I suspect that if we got £60m each for all of our departing players, we’d have replaced them too.

Our recruitment model is badly broken and they've got theirs in order. Maybe that's more of an indictment on us, but they've got it together.
Which players from the current side do you think we could get £60m for if we sold them tomorrow, out of interest? Probably Sancho and that would be it.We could easily get £60m for players, but we are not a selling club so are not in the business of selling £60m players. We buy them.
Ultimately, Brighton got a massive fee for a player and now have 60m to buy a replacement, which they are doing. Nothing impressive about that.
I highly doubt anyone will pay that for Sancho when Sterling and Jesus cost under 50m.Which players from the current side do you think we could get £60m for if we sold them tomorrow, out of interest? Probably Sancho and that would be it.
You can be obstinate and argue over semantics if you like but they clearly have a strategy in the market and we do not. It's not exclusive to one transfer.
Young English player tax. Even Kalvin Phillips went for nearly £50m.I highly doubt anyone will pay that for Sancho when Sterling and Jesus cost under 50m.
