Yep, this basically, and appears like the candyman within seconds of Romano’s name being mentioned on the forum to tell everyone. Except whenever a Romano exclusive tweet is posted. Those don’t count.
This wasn't an exclusive mate

Everton cannot offer much else to Bergwijn except for a higher salary. Bergwijn, however, values the sporting project a good amount, and as a result, he'll only want to join Ajax.

Feels like we’re “advanced” on like 5 different deals but can’t get a single one of them over the line. :wenger:

We need to finish de Ligt first so we are not handing City money to buy de Ligt.

Barca bid must be a low baller.
According to Paul Joyce, their latest offer was for £60m, which is basically what Leeds wanted. However, Leeds want to respect Chelsea (they already have an agreement), so they aren't willing to accept this offer.

I read that bit and it doesn't make much sense to me unless it's a low baller. If there's two competing offers that are pretty much equal it's up to the player, surely. Raphinha was waiting for Barca to come in according to what I read.

Pretty sure he said up to 60m – clearly much more heavy on the variables compared to the Chelsea offer.

You're correct. Barcelona wanted a total package that was worth up to that (not sure of the sort of structure that they'd prefer), and their total package is worth as much as Chelsea's if not more (Chelsea's being 55-60 million Pounds). Ben Jacobs has been the only one to report that Barcelona have a significant chunk of that in add-ons, so I'm waiting to see if anyone else will report it.

Fabrizio said it also on his Youtube channel
