Why on God’s green earth are we trying to bring Aké back? For the life of me I can’t understand it. Is he super cheap and we’re trying to save money or something?

Tuchel liked him while he was at Southampton and at Man City. Might get a deal on him. If it is more than a deal, yeah no. I just hope Colwill gets an opportunity.

Where did you get those figures?

Looking at transfermarkt, it states that Utd have (net) spent €532m, City €472m, Arsenal €371m, Chelsea €267m and Liverpool €218m.
Up until this transfer window, that is

Apologies, I used my phone to look at transfemarkt which is sometimes a pain. I must have found the wrong section, it did look odd to me to be honest. If you include this season so far it does pump Arsenal up a bit more

No worries, mate. There's so much information out there that it can be hard to keep track.

But you're right, whichever way you look at it, Arsenal have spent a lot of money.

He showed promise when he first started at City and he is good on the ball as is De ligt who is also linked to Chelsea. Tuchel is obviously looking for a particular type of defender.

Koulibaly seems to me like the perfect Rudiger replacement. Very little, if any, drop off in quality and he's old enough to not be blocking Levi Colwill's pathway. Napoli must be a pain to deal with if Chelsea aren't even trying to make a deal there.

Chelsea better hope it’s De Ligt, Kounde and him. If he’s going to be their marquee defensive signing, they’re in trouble.

We've been linked with him many times too each time an astronomical fee has been requested, Napoli likely doing the same now to you guys. Koulibaly is good but when there similar for cheaper (Skriniar) best to move on.

They're linked with Skriniar and Kounde too, imagine they're in the market for 2 defenders. One no nonsense physical defender to replace Rudiger and one capable of controlling the ball with good distribution(De Ligt/Ake).

He has 1 year left on his deal and Napoli are trying to get their players to take pay cuts. He wants to leave.

Tottenham pushing for Lenglet. Player is open to a move and there is a key meeting planned between both parties at the end of the week.

City seem to be selling too many players. Their depth wasn't really as good as people think last season and yet they are open to most of their players leaving. Should Sterling leave, their attacking options would be Foden,Grealish,Haland, Alvarez and Mahrez all very good players but an injury or two really could disrupt their season.

Then you check their midfield and there are only five players there too, Rodri, Philips, KDB, Silva and Gundogan. Think that is quite a thin squad for a 60 games season. I do get the players leaving though, as they are definitely good enough to start for other top teams rather than remaining content on City's bench.

Valencia want to cash in on Guedes but Roma won't meet their valuation. Watch out for interest from the premier league.

RC Lens' Malian midfielder Cheick Doucouré is close to joining Crystal Palace. The deal is valued at 21 million Euros, plus 5 million in bonuses. The negotiations are in the final stages.
