Tier 2:

The named candidates:
  • Michael Edwards (formerly of Liverpool)
  • Paul Mitchell (Monaco)
  • Lee Dykes (Brentford)
  • Lee Congerton (Atalanta)
West Ham have talked to Victor Orta, formerly of Leeds, but he's an unlikely appointment.

Tier 1 corroboration:

Matt Law adds that West Ham have particularly looked into Lee Dykes, Roma's Tiago Pinto, and Victor Orta.

Seems all unattainable

Tier 2:

Other players on Chelsea's striker shortlist: Ivan Toney and Lautaro Martinez

Tier 1 (Loïc Tanzi):

After six years at Manchester City, Bernardo Silva is hoping for a new project next season. PSG is a destination that appeals to him

Rough translation:

Tier 1:

  • Arsenal are preparing a £90m package for Rice
    • Arsenal will offer Rice more than a £300k/week salary (similar to Saka's new contract)
  • Newcastle are interested in Kieran Tierney.
  • Balogun wants to play more regularly and is expected to leave Arsenal as a result.
  • Reiss Nelson's set to leave Arsenal after he rejected Arsenal's last contract offer.

Arsenal aren’t paying those wages or the fee West Ham want. They aren’t big time players in this game.

He has had his best season in an Arsenal shirt this season, seems like a strange one.

No point bringing in Rice to bolster midfield numbers and immediately letting a first teamer go.

Source (Tier 2):

Arsenal are trying to extend William Saliba. Negotiations underway
  • The Frenchman's contract expires in June 2024. There is no option for Arsenal to renew his contract unilaterally
  • Three big clubs have made a move
  • He will not play again this season

I don't know who Manuel Ugarte is but he plays in Portugal and Jorge Mendes is involved, which translates to Wolves.

He's a promising central midfielder who's played well for Sporting CP. He was recently linked to Liverpool.

Not strange at all. He only has one year left. For rotation role, they're covered in midfield. He would ask for a longer contract length which they likely can't agree. Cash in to buy potential better player that would worth the longer contract is reasonable.
