  • Tottenham aren't keen on letting Pape Sarr go.
  • Spurs, however, are open to letting the following players go:
    • Bryan Gil: lots of interest from La Liga, especially Valencia
    • Japhet Tanganga (loan or sale? Unclear in the article)
    • Djed Spence (loan or sale? Unclear in the article)
  • Söyüncü will sign a pre-contract agreement in January and sign for Atletico Madrid as a free agent in the summer.
  • No contacts between Atletico Madrid and Mario Hermoso on a contract extension
    • Hermoso's contract expires in 2024.
  • Atleti are interested in Stuttgart's Mavropanos but no contact yet between the clubs
    • Transfer likely in June
  • Fiorentina likes Sofiane Boufal.
  • AC Milan are optimistic about Bennacer's renewal despite strong interest from both Liverpool and Chelsea.

Tier 2:

There are three teams interested in Alexis Mac Allister: Chelsea, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid (in that order). It is difficult for him to leave Brighton in this transfer window. He can only leave if the club wants to sell him and intends to keep him. He could leave in June.

It is not just about signing players, it is about signing the right one – if the right ones are available we would like to be able to do that. He's super talented and would make Arsenal even better but christ what they offered is absolutely fair value. It seems like you must overpay 90% of the time to get any half decent player.
