Horrible boss
Obviously it seems natural that if Martial loses his place in our team he would sign for Real Madrid.
I'm pretty sure we have other targets than him. Look how we turned away from Regullion so quickly last time.
T f is USMNT ?!
He's right occasionally, but Ian McGarry, his podcast partner, has never been right about anything, to my knowledge at least. When was the last time Castles was right about anything at all?
Apparently we offered them Martial on loan with an option to buy.
probably not the most reliable i guess
Adrian Kajumba on the Sancho situation:
- Talks will continue over the weekend.
- Both clubs are ~10 million Pounds apart in valuation
- United: 67 million + add-ons = 75 million add-ons
- Dortmund: 86 million Pounds (total package)
- Personal terms + agent fees all but finalised
- Sancho will become the second-highest earner at United, just shy of de Gea's massive contract.

I love how you’ve dragged 3 people in who have nothing to do with contracts. Those wages are beyond daft. Ole and Murtough and Fletcher are a trio of idiots if we make a 21 year old our second highest earner.
I guess Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian was right after all when he reported that Sancho will be getting 350k per week. With that said, the fact that both Aubameyang and Sterling are 300k+ per week shows that United aren't the only club that give out huge yet questionable contracts. Those wages are beyond daft. Ole and Murtough and Fletcher are a trio of idiots if we make a 21 year old our second highest earner.

Yeah, if anything, Matt Judge should be blamed for the contracts. He's the one in charge of the contract negotiations.I love how you’ve dragged 3 people in who have nothing to do with contracts.

You think these 3 people have no say in the appetite of the wage bill and the imbalance it causes in the dressing room? Judge may well have final say and lead negotiations but let's not pretend he has feck all guidance on the thoughts from the aforementioned names. You think Fergie wanted Hazard and didn't give two shits about the wages?I love how you’ve dragged 3 people in who have nothing to do with contracts.
It doesn't matter how you slice it, earning the 2nd highest in the squad before stepping in to the PL let alone OT at 21 years of age is absolute madness. I can only point to Mbappe as someone who can command something like that. Its probably with every possible bonuses , not the base salary. Many of our players can reach those levels in certain weeks if they perform very well
100%. I think Sancho will earn weekly about £250k and the other £100k in bonuses. Although, Rashford next contract he'll probably be asking for similar to Sancho deal.Yeah, if anything, Matt Judge should be blamed for the contracts. He's the one in charge of the contract negotiations.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the structure. That's still a high salary, but Sancho's really good.100%. I think Sancho will earn weekly about £250k and the other £100k in bonuses. Although, Rashford next contract he'll probably be asking for similar to Sancho deal.
Mbappé Lite!Imagine how Real fans would react to Martial for goodness sake I do think if a deal was there to be done, we'd part ways with him this summer though.
Quite sure that's not what's in the contract. Wel see when it's announced. There's clauses sure find it unlikely that they so material so as to make a huge difference.Theres a huge difference of getting that only certain weeks if you score and assist or something, than having it as the base salary...

Not in massive transparency but there's enough out there to see a weekly salary. It's not all pure guesswork. Are the contracts , even when announced, out in the open though? Often find it to be very varied reporting on that with vastly different amounts, and that they arent shared in detail.
As others have said, they have nothing to do with player contracts. Sancho is already earning 190k/week at Dortmund and a handful of our players have higher wages than that, so it is no surprise for him to move here he'll be getting a pay increase (likely at least partially incentivised) which would put him further up there. Those wages are beyond daft. He'll be worth it in the long run, it'll be a long contract either way.Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the structure. That's still a high salary, but Sancho's really good.
Something to do with Pogba about 5 years ago, I think. Seriously. When was the last time Castles was right about anything at all?
They certainly have a view on it. They know the capacity of the finances which will include transfer and wage bills. They won't obviously dictate the budget amount nor do they negotiate, but they will factor it into appetite for shortlisting players. As others have said, they have nothing to do with player contracts. At RM? None that I can think of. Unless its Sancho againWho's the elite forward?
That's exactly how we should word it, get him to Madrid, hopefully for a swap for Varane rather than loanMartial is a good, strong, pacey striker who can play, and cover, the left wing.
Hes a great squad addition to most teams.

We offer some money and Martial and get VaraneAny idea of a transfer fee?
Wild decision

Rennes made an offer to Lens for Loïc Badé, but due to the demands of the Northerners [i.e. Lens], the Breton club turned to Arthur Theate (21 years old - K.V. Oostende) in their search for a central defender. [The] Belgians ask for 10 million Euros.
