After the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum, PSG's priority is to make a [signing for the] right side [i.e. right full/wing back]. Negotiations are continuing for Hakimi but other avenues remain open. Discussions still ongoing with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Paris could move to an offensive position [in their negotiations].

Nico Gonzalez just had an injury-ridden yet good season for Stuttgart. The interest doesn't surprise me, but I was expecting a better club than Fiorentina. Fiorentina offered 20 million Euros, but Stuttgart want 3 million Euros more along with the bonuses. He was previously targeted by Mourinho as well as Lazio and Paratici.

The thing though is his ball-carrying stats are almost all in the effing 10, 20 and 30 percentiles, ie, really, really bad. Except for carries into the oppo box (68 percentile). Interestingly, also very high on Touches in oppo penalty area. From his stats, he looks like someone who tackles and blocks at one end, and is involved on the ball in and around the oppo penalty area, but not too much involved in between. Sounds plausible that we might think a different role would bring out different things. It's got to be something, at that price!
Yeah, I think if you're looking at the stats from this year, they won't paint a pretty picture. He's not in the best form. I'm not sure what percentiles hed be in when he was in form? Maybe thats a better view of what our team think he could bring

This all just seems crazy because in the 90's, we was all talking about how £7.5m was a lot of money for Bergkamp and how the £4.5m for Zola was a good piece of money also how Thierry Henry cost £11m which seemed kind of ridiculous but now, we are on the verge of a young, amazing striker like Erling Haaland going to Chelsea for £150m!

Football League and non league clubs like mine can only dream of selling or signing a player for that much..

Info from Melchor Ruiz

Real Madrid would not frown upon Varane's exit.

He has one more year on his contract and has been offered to renew, but he has not answered yet.

Madrid think that they can get close to 60 million Euros for him.

Info from Juanma Castaño

Alvaro Morata will continue on loan with Juventus for one more year.

Juventus will pay 10 million Euros to Atlético de Madrid, which is the same amount as last year.

Juve wants to retain the player, and in January 2022, they will exercise the purchase option for 35 million Euros.

Álvaro Odriozola, with a contract until 2024, does not enter Carlo Ancelotti's plans for next season. The club has already passed the info on to the player, who has explored the option of visiting Italy: Inter and AC Milan, two of the options.

It looks like Kicker reported this originally, though the story's also come through in SportBILD and other outlets.

Schalke has had a crap season and I haven’t watched much football this season, but for €8m I’m surprised no one else is in for him. He’s a slightly inferior version of Goretzka who could still potentially kick it up a notch, in my opinion.

Haha, ok - I see im in a minority here.

Just dont see how they are different to 90% of the journalists/aggregator accounts out there which is also just guesswork most of the time.

Kane apparently set on moving to City

The rest of those headlines are such guff. He wanted to be Michael Jordan, but now changed his mind, trophies are the most important thing. No wait, winning with England is. I cried twice, look how much I care.

He is a tremendous footballer, but he comes across as a complete simpleton.

Wanted to be Michael Jordan
Cried at the pub

 The Athletic is such spoofery

Real journalists sometimes gets briefed from the clubs, like with Cavani announcement. The account you posted just piggybacked on those journalists. If Simon Stone posts 'Cavani announcement imminent' at 17:58, then it's not hard for the account you posted to post the same at 17:59 and pretend to be reliable because it posted that before the official announcement. It's not very hard to do, just takes some dedication. It's also blatantly obvious that accounts like muppetiers operate like that to gain attention, so really don't see why anyone still going about their reliability. After all, we're approaching, what, 10-15 years of Twitter-muppeting now? Then again indykaila still boasts tons of followers, so.

I also cried when England got knocked out in 04 and 06. Laughing, that is.

And I'll do it again, I tell you. I'll do it again mwhahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !

Sports journalism is.

Take a tweet below for example. Everything is smooth on Sancho front but concern about Dortmund's demands. I mean it's as likely an oxymoron of sentence as you'd ever see from a journalist. Give me back teletext.

We haven’t seen (or at least I haven’t) anything of BVB upper management talking about it, which makes me think it’s only a matter of time. Last summer every week was them talking about his price etc.
Because they're desperate to get this deal done, they need the money to fund their own transfers. Last summer they weren't as desperate, they held all the cards, now we have leeway since they lost money they needed during covid.

Absolutely. Another tweet said we want to announce the deal but haven't made a formal offer yet. Yeah, well, feck off

He wanted to be Michael Jordan and dominate every aspect of the game  Either the journalist likes to talk nonsense or Kane thinks he's better than he actually is

Here come the Coman links (updated with follow-up Tweet from Plettenberg).

I see we have found our new Sneijder/Gaitan for the next decade. Every summer without fail we get linked to Coman coming here.

I would take Sterling in a quick minute, i think he'd fit our system really well and be a great option on that left and challenge with Rashford
Same, I think Sterling is an Excellent player and would fit excellently into our setup.

Underrated player
