He surely can't be going to psg considering they have just shelled out ridiculous wages and signing on fee for mbappe, there has to be some breaking point of psg taking the absolute piss out of ffp.

All the good players are being snapped up now and we will be left with 2nd and 3rd choices again.
Kamara going to Villa.
Tchouameni to Liverpool or Real.
Rice and Philips not interested coming here.
Nunez and Nkunku not interested coming here.

Di Maria leaves and he can take his position and wages.

Its May 24th. The hysteria already is mind boggling.

It's what happens when you don't qualify for the CL, only ourselves to blame. We're competing with Arsenal for players, not City, Liverpool, Bayern or Madrid.

I’ve always admired the way Chelsea do their business, if a signing doesn’t work out they get rid, either put them up for sale or ship them out on loan till they find a buyer. No mucking about, this is something we need to get in the habit of doing.

It is a bit concerning that Timber is the only player we're seriously linked to right now. It seems we can still only focus on one target at a time.

Cheeky bid? He was amazing under Ten Hag at Ajax.

Or we’re actually keeping things in house and under wraps and the days of Woody leaking all our transfers to anyone who will listen are over.
I'd like to think so. Nothing crushes your optimism quite like post-Fergie United though.

Worth a shot on the cheap? Was very good for Ten Hags Ajax

Just a gentle reminder that none of these things have actually happened yet.

Kamara went to Villa, if he was that good why weren't other top clubs all over him?

Rice was never realistic this window, Philips was always going to be difficult to persuade (and 90% of the Caf think he's shite anyway).

Where has Nkunku said he wouldn't join?

Talk about an overreaction.

It's easy to think they're a bit of a circus because of how Roman has gone through managers at times, but the reason new managers can go in there in and implement effective change so quickly, is that Chelsea is a really well run football club off the field.

Don’t think you guys would like him very much. Just don’t think he suits this league at all, sadly. Was very hopeful when we signed him and his playstyle should have fit playing with Lukaku like a dream but it didn’t.

His delivery is still great but he struggles badly with the pace and athleticism of the PL. Can’t really beat anyone in open space because he’s pretty slow and is often bullied off the ball quite easily.

Think he’d do very well in a slower and less grueling league like Serie A.

Didnt think he would be joining anyway but the positive is that hes still at Monaco and hasnt left to go anywhere else (like Chelsea for example).

I agree.

He's got a great role at Monaco.
Will struggle to earn more elsewhere because of Monaco's tax policy.
Great climate and culture to live in.

I love United, but I would absolutely not give up what he's got in Monaco to try and prove something at this shitshow of a club.

Update Favre: Everything is prepared, and the first draft contracts have already been exchanged. However, the final details, which include the squad, are still being negotiated. Gladbach keeps back-ups open should Favre surprisingly withdraw

With him and Kulusevski, arent they spending around 75m in the summer without really adding anyone..
Its going to be a big summer for Spurs...
I think Kulusevski's loan is until 2023, so they can postpone some of this spending until next summer.

A gentle reminder that your level headed common sense rationality has no place in the transfer thread. Because obviously everything is awful and we should all just be manic depressive about it. (Or to put that another way - there is no helping some here…) ;)
