Ha, he's screwed if he expects that from anyone.
So deluded.
please Jesus be trueTwitter speculation thread probably the best place for this but there are some rumours on Twitter of a potential Jim Ratcliffe movement for the club. Might aline with the exodus of some senior people at the club and his very public approach to buy Chelsea when it was too late. Probably bullshit but it is a comforting thought before bed.
Mate move on.It was easy for many to blame Ole or the club for Lingard not moving last year but if it wasn't clear before surely by now everyone realizes the guy was only ever interested in a big pay day by moving as a free agent. And that's his right he can see out his contract if he want's but he was no victim and he wasn't mislead, he knew exactly what he was doing.
It's not. The rumours started from some random person on Twitter who was trying to be an ITK. This was the Tweet that kicked it all off:please Jesus be true
Only 8?
Mate move on.
Only 8?
Julian Alvarez is a very professional boy who adapts quickly. He has grown a lot and always works for the team. With the people from City we meet personally and talk about the situation of Julian Alvarez, it is likely that he will leave in June. From what I heard from Guardiola, I understand that Manchester City want Julian in their team from June.
City must pay the clause for Julian Alvarez to leave. He is at River until 7th July.
There is a 50% chance that Danjuma will leave this summer.
City are pushing to bring Julián Álvarez in a month earlier.

Man's gotta fund that Louis V wardrobe, £50k watches and £10m fleet of luxury sports cars. What a deluded man child.
The club want to keep him here because of the publicity his off the field activity generates. Ten Hag won't be allowed to sell him, just as Mourinho wasn't.
The club want to keep him because he is a very good player, and a home grown one at that. One season off the back of an injury which required surgery and a stupid euro final cameo ( on Southgate) that has shattered the lads confidence doesn’t change the player Marcus is. If ETH gives him confidence then Marcus will flourish again next season and this season will be forgotten. The club want to keep him here because of the publicity his off the field activity generates. Never ceases to amaze me the lengths people go to, to create/follow an agenda.Exactly. They aren't confident in his footballing abilities, they just know that hes massively marketable to the gullible masses.
Even if Paris Saint-Germain is necessarily in the picture, Paul Pogba is not very close to PSG today. Paris still has to act on some things, and clear its workforce before moving more concretely on its transfers.

How about Draxler, Rafinha, Icardi, Kehrer, or one of their younger players? Those are the sort of players that PSG are trying to move on. Paredes was also on their to-go list, but I don't know if that's still the case nowadays. They can sell us Marquinhos and Verratti if they want.
Or he's coming close to the end of his contract and they want to renew it because they want to keep him, rather than reward him? There's a thought.no matter how you see it giving out new contract JUST after the player having his worst season is sending out the wrong signal to the other players.

Who in their right mind would sign an 8 year contract? Specially not for a wage that "low" - He has 3 years left on his contract, I'm sure he could sign somewhere earning closer to £400k a week including the big fat bonus.
But to be fair, whoever said it was a good idea for him to sign the extension last year should be fired too.
Agreed.no matter how you see it giving out new contract JUST after the player having his worst season is sending out the wrong signal to the other players.
