As I said earlier on, I thought the group was slightly too big, we had too many players and players not seeing the chance to get regular playing time, this is why I'm happy not only for the club and ourselves but for the players. Donny, Anthony, and Amad deserve to get regular game time and I wish them all the very best.

Full quotes:
His contract is expiring in the summer and if, in the end, he would like to stay or go somewhere else he has to show up. It’s not only in the interest of us as a club, but it’s in his personal interest that he plays and performs at the highest possible level in the next couple of weeks. We haven’t spoken about that (his future) at all so far, not only about Paul’s situation but also other players with contracts expiring in the summer, we also didn’t speak about new players so far.

Jesus Christ we are in fecking shambles. We should already be talking to our future manager and getting a transfer list scouting and going. Then we can get his players in early in the summer window. I hope these are strategic leaks from the club and they have already decided on the new manager.

But looking at our trend these past years, it’ll probably drag out and the new transfers will get like a week at best to train with their new teammates.

That's for a normal club we, are on the other hand, are a giant billboard that sometimes plays football. Imagine the time it takes for us to decide on a player, make an approach and get a deal agreed and considering that we are reportedly just starting to search for a new manager. It looks like next season will also be a difficult one.

Flamengo vice-president Marcos Braz on signing Pereira permanently:
The trip is mainly to see Andreas’ situation. Let’s try to buy the player and sit on the negotiation. We can’t wait until the end to find out what will happen. Let’s understand what the English want and hope that everything works out.

I believe that on Friday we will have a meeting (in England). It’s evident that Flamengo will not pay the fixed amount. Let’s sit at the table. They already know we won’t pay that amount.

Who says we aren’t looking at players?

Guess Pereira will be like a new signing in the summer.
It said they’re looking at a permanent exit

What a fall from grace this is.

I think that’s harsh on poor Douglas Costa. He will be 32 this year and has rejected a move to the biggest club in South America to try his hand in the MLS. I think it’s a good move for him at this stage of his career.

Much better to do something like this than what the likes of Bale are doing at the same age.

It's a name that has already been talked about a bit during the January market: Matty Cash. The Aston Villa right-back will continue to be a real option for Atlético de Madrid in the summer as @wlodar85 explains. Don't forget it.

Matty Cash and Atletico Madrid. The topic is actually there. Atleti's sporting director Andrea Berta spoke and made plans with the footballer's father. The topic is expected to come back in the summer.

8m is fair for Pereira. They can't afford much more. Maybe the compromise could be 50% of any fee they get above 8m so we get some money if they sell him on for a higher fee.

Gotta love the Daily Mail's headlines:

This is where the United link comes from.

It's not very much, no. They'll need to offer more, else we get him
I know you are not a fan, but Süle is off and I would rather have Rüdiger than Christensen or Ginter/Schlotterbeck.
€12m pa or whatever that is, is fine for Rüdiger.

State of the Daily Mail almost Man United-like. Kudos to Law for flushing out the divas.
Law is the Diva here. Most pompous twat about whom is absolutely clueless apart from what he gets fed by Chelsea.

Official: Lyon announce that Shaqiri is in talks to join an MLS club (Chicago Fire most likely).

I would certainly be fine with Rüdiger who has been amazing for Tuchel. I'd rather have kept Süle though but what can you do.
