It's weird. They also included Alex Telles, who's our #1 left back at the moment. I think their shortlist is a little outdated or tiered in terms of the likeliness of signing a new left back.
Telles isn't the number 1 left back. Shaw has played the available games since he's come back into the team.

You're right, Shaw has, but Rangnick seems to see Telles as the more attacking full back, which is a prerequisite for his system. Personally, I think Shaw can perform that role excellently, but Rangnick seems to prefer Telles in the league over Shaw.

Signed the 24 year old after his loan was good for Atlanta last year.

  • Vlahovic's agent demands €10M for the signing-on bonus.
  • Fiorentina have received multiple offers that don't meet their valuation.

I don't think I've ever seen a professional footballer at the top level, show less interest and joy on the pitch than Martial, so for the news he's leaving because he wants to play football, seems far-fetched to me, and as such I believe United are fully within their right to ask for the full wages covered. If he really wants to play, take a paycut mate, prove to us and yourself that you want this - words are cheap.

Other names on Everton's managerial shortlist:

So now they're considering Duncan Ferguson in a longer-term role. At the moment, Everton seem quite directionless, and Moshiri seems to be more of a disruptive presence than I'd have thought.

Anyone worth knicking from them while they are in turmoil?

What an absolute shit show that that's probably the best possible conclusion to this fiasco.
I’d say that’s the best outcome! An overrated, overall pretty useless player, who’s spent a big chunk of time on the treatment table on massive wages. If someone wants to buy that problem for us that’d be grand!

Get him gone for £10m, and Pereira for £7-10m, and we can bring in a midfielder this window hopefully.

Pogba could be that player who pushes us into top four. Long shot I know but give it a try and see where it takes us then let him go to wherever he wants in the summer. Who knows, he may be fresh and motivated to play under a new manager
