hes 28 years old. What development are you expecting at 28?

Lingaard is probably delusional enough to think he would get first team football at an elite european club. Its not his level. Agree with other posters should have asked sensible money for him aka £15mil and got a few clubs on the hook. Give him some options and maybe get a bidding war going.
Ole is to blame as well, for some reason he wants a bloated squad, which reduces the finances to bring in the quality midfielder we all know we need. Lingaard isn't going to be a first team regular at utd. He must know that himself. Do a Phil Neville and move on to a club where you will pretty much play all of the time.
We actually offered him a deal.
So Lingard goes to West Ham for free and we pay £70m+ for Rice....
Sergi Roberto was yesterday at the Camp Nou offices: NO renewal has been discussed. The negotiation continues along the same lines: two more years.
The two clubs are OK and Nampalys also for a loan. But the player must arrive in Dakar in the next few hours. It is therefore a race against time which promises to make him arrive in Istanbul before 23:59 tomorrow evening and the end of the Turkish transfer window.
He wanted to be on a free to maximize his return. Very unfair on the club but it is what it is.Why didn't you move on then in the summer? This makes no sense.
Good post. I shouldn’t even have to point that outThere were plenty of reports that we wanted 30m, lowered it to 25m towards the end. West Ham wanted to pay 18m.
And even if he didnt want to go to West Ham, its his choice..
He has done nothing wrong. I have no idea how he's getting the blame here..
I like him but I dont see how he is getting regular minutes here.. If he stays on as a squad player.. I'm fine with that.. if he leaves, hope he gets a good club..
I’d like to see that too, I think he’s got the skill setOle seems pretty good at convincing fringe players they will play. Both Jesse and Donny are going to have an unfortunate reality this season I think. I'd like to see Donny especially given a chance as a 6 this season; a run of games I mean rather than 1 game starting then 8 on the bench.
If you can call Andorra an international. With Sancho, Greenwood, Foden, Bellingham all maturing, there’s no chance he gets in the WC squadHe wanted to be on a free to maximize his return. Very unfair on the club but it is what it is.
The problem is with Southgate who keeps calling him up for internationals.
Chips? Half and half?No Rice please, thanks.
Chips? Half and half?
And Rudiger’s also scored for Germany. Must have a similar record to TimoWait… what? Why would Chelsea do that? No wonder Rüdiger feels underpaid
From what I remember, Liverpool were interested.. and had a release clause.. Chelsea probably had to pay him more to get him when it looked for a long time that he was Liverpool bound.Wait… what? Why would Chelsea do that? No wonder Rüdiger feels underpaid
That is true, the fee for Leipzig was set. But still! He earns on Lewandowski‚s level and is at best half the player. From what I remember, Liverpool were interested.. and had a release clause.. Agreed, I think Bellingham will sign a new deal this year on better terms and won‘t want to move himself for at least the next couple of seasons. There's almost zero chance of that happening. Haaland is all but certain to leave next summer, Witsel's contract ends as well and since their contracts would expire the following summer Akanji and Guerreiro might have to be sold, too, if they don't want to extend. With so many starters (potentially) leaving on other positions I doubt Dortmund would be much inclined to let go of the ones they don't need to sell.
