I can't believe the club is actually tweeting about not honoring the contracts they gave players. Absolute cult feeling about Barcelona.
 
I'm sure Mendes is a great talent but City can't afford to spend £35m+ on a fullback again. Plus it would mean that only one of Walker/Cancelo starts and the other would push for a move and no team will offer what City ask right now just like with Laporte and Bernardo.

Mendy has been arrested so they do kind of need a LB. Cancelo played some centre mid last season didn’t he?

They are going to have a pretty impressive attacking unit there the way things are going.

I meant theres no commitment on the loan for Saul. Not that the club haven’t shown commitment.

Edit: On Saul, he seems good enough for Chelsea and is versatile. As a loan with an option it would have been good imo. Especially when you look at our midfield against Wolves

Good news that he is not joining City. He looks a beast of a LB.
 

Last week Mateu Alemany was in Manchester for Sterling's arrival, but FCB could not complete the transfer for the player. He was also in Leeds for Rodrigo Moreno, but Yuste and Laporta did not see him in Barcelona.

Barça was always very attentive in the situation of Raheem Sterling. We said it at the beginning of this market. Fee too high.

Truly is embarrassing. I hope the board of directors are working without pay then, because they're to blame for this whole financial mess and the players are bailing them out.

Lost all respect for Barca.
