This article makes absolutely no sense. Going on about how we have a 100 million budget of which, 73 million are gone with Sancho's purchase. When it has been widely reported by reliable sources that we will be paying installments for Sancho. Then he says we may try to swap Pogba with Varane if Real continues to hold firm over the price, when everyone else is reporting that the deal is already done. :wenger:
Ogden knows absolutely feck all. The idea that negative bitter shite has a single source at United anymore is a fallacy. He states selling martial would bring in 25m…we aren’t selling martial for 25m. He also prices Lingard at 20m then suggests selling James, Telles, Williams, Axel and Pereira would bring in another 30m…is he for real? We’re asking 25m for James alone.

  • A new midfielder is prioritised over a new right back
    • Pogba's uncertain future is playing a part
  • United interested in Rice and Camavinga
    • Must sell before they can buy a new midfielder
  • Regarding Goretzka, United feel like they're being used by Goretzka's reps for an improved contract

Looks like United will still require James's services for this season at the very least.

Hugill and McNeill sign long-term contracts, whilst Woolston signs a one-year deal.

Sergio Rico is not going to continue in Paris. Lille [are] very interested but there is NO agreement. PSG rejected an offer from Real Sociedad and the goalkeeper did not accept a proposal from Everton because he wants guarantees to play. Besiktas, totally fake. This is the situation at the moment.

Atlético continues to think that Barcelona is bluffing with the Griezmann issue. They know that the beginning of August will further increase despair over the Messi case. Be aware, if something concrete [i.e. a reasonable offer] arrives for Saúl, [Atletico Madrid will] close the case, go for a striker [other than Griezmann] and let Laporta solve his [own] problems.

Short of needing a really fast towel boy, I don't see why we need James. We have Martial, Sancho, Greenwood and Mata is staying. Van de Beek can also fill in one of those front positions.

If we keep James, Lingard has to go 100% because how are our up-and-coming players meant to break through if Dan James is wasting a spot on the bench/in the squad.

  • Newcastle discussed both a loan and permanent transfer.
    • Loan more likely due to Newcastle's limited budget
  • Newcastle submitted a bid for Joe Willock and are now waiting for Arsenal's response.
  • Steve Bruce wants 3-4 new signings before the start of the PL campaign.
