Yes. I'm not a paid scout or a football nut who watches multiple leagues at once. I watch my team, a bit of the PL and the CL (and increasingly the EL...). The fact he's 36 and missed almost 30 games since the turn of the year is not an argument in his favour ffs (and got absolutely spun in the biggest game of the season. Also his last ever for Madrid? Ouch). Left out of the Spain team as well, obviously. And it doesn't look like they are particularly brimming with defensive talent.
Sure, questions over his fitness are fine. You didn't talk about that though, you talked about him being slow. And he's really, really not

He came across as cumbersome and slow as shit in the Chelsea game. Apologies if I called it wrong.

Have you raced him recently then?

I think the whole Maguire is slow theory is a bit of a myth.

Jonny Evans had an interview a year or so ago with the Belfast Times whereby he was saying that Maguire had explosive pace....
Of course its a myth. We played a high line most of last season and Maguire was hardly left in the dust.
Fans equate not being quick to being slow as if there isnt an inbetween.

Reminder that there is no such thing as a freebie and sergio ramos would likely cost something like £20M a year...

Pau Torres on, say, £8M a year would be cheaper on a yearly basis for example
Torres's wages are currently €30k/week. You'd give him a 600% pay rise on joining United. Are you his agent or his mum?

Of course there is. Every player earns a salary, and most of them cost a transfer fee - except the ones that don’t, obviously. There is a clear appeal in adding players who do not cost a transfer fee.

Ben White is thought to be keen on a move to Arsenal, Edu has held talks with White's reps at London Colney. Club hopeful of reaching a deal for both White and Lokonga at Anderlecht. Ødegaard unlikely, Maddison top of the club's wishlist. Interest in André Onana and Aaron Ramsdale.

O na-na what’s my name?

sign him for that reason alone.

Brighton ‘we create 20 chances a game but sadly have Aaron Connolly playing up front for us’ Hove and Albion will regret not going for one of these.

Apparently they're close to signing Nico Gonzalez.

You'd think he'd bang in a few more than Connolly.

He’s not really a 9 though is he? More of a drifter, so to speak? Think they could have signed Daka, and if not, should try and get Tammy, although not sure if he’d go there.

They're getting players and wages off their books and freeing space for Hakimi. They do this very well. We got 13m for Smalling last season and it's difficult to see who is going to be sold for definite this summer!
They sold Tomori above his market value (plus the 2 million loan fee last year), and most likely will get Hakimi below his market value. Chelsea are the masters of the transfer market.

Lmfao. He played for us just last season.
Hardly a made up guy!

Has an full international cap for England, played amazingly well for Milan season just gone, has been around the Championship on loan and is still only 23, i would say that Milan have themselves an absolute bargain there for a shade over £20m.

Never heard of him

Leicester want Daka AND Edouard? How many strikers do they need? Is Vardy leaving? Especially strange with the form Iheanacho showed towards the end of the season.

Ihenacho plays off of the wing these days right? Vardy is 35 so I guess they are succession planning and exploring different players to see what shakes loose.
