Surprised Pep isn’t all over this, especially with Silva leaving.
For Thiago's role they have Gundogan and if Pep wanted a CM he'd probably choose Aouar over Alcantara anyway. Despite playing for such a dominant team he doesn't produce many goals or assists.

If Napoli can sell Allan to Everton and Koulibaly to City, we're fecked, they will get Gabriel.

Amoyal replies on Koulibaly's likeliness to leave Napoli. It seems like he's basing this on di Laurentiis's prior statement and the fact that Manchester City are preparing themselves to negotiate for him.

As much as Pep likes Thiago, he'd demand a decent wage, and I'm not sure if the club would want to take a chance on a player who's had various injury problems over the years.

Don't think City will offer €80-90m or whatever de Laurentiis wants. Think more like €55-60m + few millions in add-ons.

If a midfielder joins City this summer it's gonna be someone who can also play as false 9.

Of course. Can't see them getting Neymar due to him preferring Barcelona, whilst Mbappe on the other hand will probably end up there. I guess it all depends in what capacity would they intend to use him? Through the middle or on the wings and i guess potential sale of Vinicius/Rodrygo would depend on that.

Then again just like VP89 has mentioned, would Sancho go to PSG?
I think that depends. If Messi decides to do a Giggs, Neymar knows he won't the main man during his peak years. So, if he has an offer from Madrid and Messi doesn't look like leaving anytime soon, he may well take it. Madrid just want the best players - they don't care too much about how they fit in.

Can't see Sancho going to PSG. Firstly, from what I've read, it seems he's homesick and wants to come back to England which is plausible at a young age, living in a country where he doesn't speak the language, misses his friends, etc. Having said that, we're seemingly the only ones who can afford him this summer and if we can't get him, he'll have to wait till next year where he'll have a few more options: PSG, Bayern, Madrid, Chelsea, City, us (again), maybe Juve. But some of them, however interested they may be, aren't options for him: City cos of the way he left, Bayern (done the German league), Juve (seem to be struggling financially), us (we are useless at big transfers when there is competition), Chelsea (will be stocked in attack), PSG (not enough of a challenge for him)...so really, it's Madrid or us again. So really, it's Madrid next season if he doesn't come to us this summer, I reckon.

I know that the headline's about the Dynamo Kiev player Vitaliy Mykolenko, but the article itself contains some interesting info.

  • Roma and several Premier League clubs have also expressed their interest.
  • Inter are targeting Chelsea left back Emerson Palmieri (main target). They will approach Chelsea after their Europa League campaign.

Benfica's Florentino Luis's agent will meet with his club to determine whether the player will leave the club or stay. AC Milan previously tried to purchase him in January and still hold an interest in him, but they're currently trying to seal Bakayoko's return from Chelsea.

If he's available for significantly less than his release clause, then we should be in for him.

Both Sky Sports and the Liverpool Echo tried to deny that Liverpool contacted Bayern Munich about Thiago.

Christian Falk, however, hits back.

AC Milan approached him in January already, and their offer was rejected. That makes me think that he's not available for any sort of a bargain.

Ever since there were rumours about his house in Munich being for sale it was pretty clear he would leave.

We desperately need someone in there that can run again and I think he can be that man to provide it. I wouldn't mind paying that much as you could probably get 3 or 4 good years out of him.
If you just want someone who can run I’m sure we can sort you out for cheaper.

Tottenham just got a taste of their own medicine after their former player Luis Binks was sold to Bologna after a few months with Montreal Impact. Montreal Impact and Bologna have the same owners, so this is basically like what Spurs did to us regarding Zeki Fryers.

He will remain on loan at Montreal Impact until the end of 2020 (when the MLS season is expected to end).

Incredibly dumb. Who cares if they made or didn't make contact. If they want him they'll pick up the phone and call. This whole industry of ITK "journalists" is so bizarre.

Most of the info's already known, but what sticks out is the fact that Liverpool are working to renew Wijnaldum's contract (next season will be his last as things stand).

I think this will get done. $30 million is a small amount, they will probably agree on something around $25 million as a compromise.

  • AC Milan are chasing Nikola Milenkovic
    • They are willing to include Lucas Paqueta in the deal.
    • Fiorentina only want 40 million Euros for now.
    • The demands may lower since Milenkovic has 2 years left on his contract.
  • Milan have agreed on personal terms with Ante Rebic.
    • Milan will now negotiate with Frankfurt on the transfer fee.

What happened to Paqueta? Sure he was one of the many next big things coming out of Brazil.

EXCLUSIVE! According to @fredcaldeira , from Esporte Interativo, Andreas Pereira is leaving Manchester United and will not remain at the club next season. Already negotiates with clubs in Portugal, Spain and Germany
