Yeah, 9 goals and 4 assist in 34 matches is not what we need. It's Martial type numbers and he's been shit.Jesus wept, please no.

Despite that, United are still keeping tabs on the player, so we'll see how this situation develops.I’d be very happy to see him play for United, but looks like Torres is our man if the speculation is to be believed.
More info:
I think if it is a £100m then that's a lot of money to spend in the current market. And then if we can bring in money via sales, then we could have a significant amount to spend. But it all come being creative in the market like the above tweet I posted. So he hasnt inside news, he just saw the same financials as the rest of us.
Thanks, James.
In particular, if we can structure deals like Diogo Jota's transfer to Liverpool, we can potentially bring in multiple players next summer. It's just a matter of structuring a large enough payment for 2022.I think if it is a £100m then that's a lot of money to spend in the current market. I don't think that's correct whenever Clubs talk of budgets they are mostly describing total outlay for the players ,United won't be bringing in talent worth 250 m just because we might be paying 100m for them upfrontIn particular, if we can structure deals like Diogo Jota's transfer to Liverpool, we can potentially bring in multiple players next summer. That's fair enough. I have been looking through the cash flow lens since last summer, as it's ultimately about the cash that's available at the time. Given what happened last summer with United, I don't tend to put so much importance on the overall transfer budgets as that can change depending on forecasted cash flows.I don't think that's correct whenever Clubs talk of budgets they are mostly describing total outlay for the players ,United won't be bringing in talent worth 250 m just because we might be paying 100m for them upfront
If the budget is 100 m without sales we would only bring 100 m worth of talent nothing more we won't be committing more than 100 m in total fees irrespective of how the payments are structured.
Whilst I agree, it's funny how the argument against him is now consistency, where as before it was he's a crock.
Your cash flow point is absolutely on mark that's the reason I still believe we were not able to sign Sancho last season Its all speculation but I think we might have been able to bring Sancho's price under 100 m but insistence on Dortmund's side was big fee Upfront which ultimately wasn't doable on our part .That's fair enough. Exactly. We can't go around spending huge sums on singular targets in the current market. And if you look at the work of some of the top Sporting directors, like Ralf Rangnick etc, he's a big believer in identifying young potential which has been a corner stone to his success in building teams from scratch that have gone on to be successful. In particular, if we can structure deals like Diogo Jota's transfer to Liverpool, we can potentially bring in multiple players next summer. It's funny how the tone changed throughout the course of that transfer window. At the start, we were apparently ready to deal with COVID-19's impact on finances, but once we became aware of the hit on our matchday revenue, our tone suddenly changed. That tells me that we probably had a decent chunk of the fee expected to be paid in 2021, but we then had to renegotiate, which is where Dortmund insisted on the large up-front fee.Your cash flow point is absolutely on mark that's the reason I still believe we were not able to sign Sancho last season Its all speculation but I think we might have been able to bring Sancho's price under 100 m but insistence on Dortmund's side was big fee Upfront which ultimately wasn't doable on our part .
That's right, but you'd think that Liverpool would declare their intention to pay the clause in order to gain permission to talk to Konaté's camp. I guess speaking to the player's agents first has become the norm; we do it as well.Wouldn't need to with the release clause
I’m not even looking at it. I woke up. I saw my phone ring all over the place and I just wanted to tell them: ‘Oi, I’m tired. I played yesterday. Leave me alone. There have been rumours with so many clubs…There’s no need to focus on that. The Euros are now, and then I return to my club.
Don't think I've ever forgiven him for missing that chance at anfield...I actually haven't seem him since the Liverpool game almost two years ago! So I didn't realise he was over his injury concerns.
Just remembered him being very laid back when it came to finishing, something Martial is awful with.
I’ve seen two or three things, but it’s a lot of rumours. Things are said left, right and centre, especially at the moment. It’s nearly the end of the season. The transfer window will soon open. It’s nice, it proves that I’m doing my job and that I can be performant despite the results, that I can show what I know and that I’m still here.

Anyways, here's Konaté speaking about the recent news:
Source: RMC Sport
It looks like Liverpool are talking to Konaté's entourage, and the player himself hasn't really gotten in touch with Liverpool as of now.
From what I've read online, legally speaking, the buying club gets the permission to speak to the player if they submit an offer to the player's club (even with a release clause in place). In this case, though, they aren't technically speaking to the player but to his entourage, which is the norm.Pretty sure you don't need to do that
From what I've seen in a different Tweet a while back, he is seemingly a striker/forward. He's mostly played up front through the middle, and his standout attributes seem to be his speed, skill, and finishing.Anyone knows who he is? position? etc
Striker, scored 48 goals in 28 games for Derby from what I've read.Anyone knows who he is? position? etc
Fabian Ruiz on his future: “I am very happy to play for Napoli. I still have two years left on my contract."
In short, that journo James Cooper hasn’t got a clue. It’s all ‘i think, i think’, basically all his own opinion. It’s not like a United source or official told or leaked to him about the club’s transfer plans
