Potential Bissouma replacement? Seems like Bissouma will be gone this window or the next. At Everton he would have a little more competition for his spot but would be a good move for him too. Sad it seems like we are missing out, hopefully we are looking at a little higher profile Matic replacement.

I want to believe we are looking at a starter but absolutely nothing to suggest we are at all

I remember when there was a bit of hype on Meïté when he was in Ligue 1. Ever since he came to Torino, however, that hype died down, and he hasn't been able to express himself as much.

He's still a decent player whenever I've watched him play, but he appears limited in Torino's setup. I think Pioli can unleash him and make him more of an all-action B2B midfielder. He might be a better player than Rade Krunic in that role.

Strootman's coming back to Serie A!

It will be a loan deal with no option to buy, but Genoa are willing to discuss the potential of a permanent deal by summertime with Marseille.

After Quagliarella said no, Juve have decided to add Gianluca Scamacca into their striker shortlist.

We may have read or heard a ton about Sergio Ramos and his contract standoff with Real Madrid, but it seems that there's more than meets the eye, here. Maybe there's more discontent than we thought in the Real Madrid dressing room.

@giorno @carvajal Have the Madrid/Spanish media shed more light on the potential futures of other players (Corrigan touched upon Modric and Vazquez)? What about concerns over adequately strengthening the squad in the near future?

So I've looked through what Romano has mentioned regarding Moises Caicedo, and one bit of info that he's consistently presented is that we've been in touch with his agents and were in control of the deal. Clearly, he's getting his info from another journalist(s) or a source(s) of that (those) journalist(s). It'd be good if he can acknowledge them like some of the other journalists do instead of presenting them as his own info entirely.

He has no sources and is reading the same Twitter folks as you are.

This is also why I somewhat doubt the claims that they are willing to pay Alaba €12m net and a €20m signing bonus.

See this is where I disagree. I think he has some contacts, in Italy most likely. But with success he's got greedy and now just jumps on other people information and claims it as his own. At one point he was a good source, but he was never a source of information for all transfers which he's now claiming to be.

Barca can't even spend €10m on a player, PSG can only sign players on loan, Bayern's signings didn't impress anyone, clearly Real has financial problems too... This is why I don't think Neymar or Mbappe will move this summer. Wouldn't even surprise me if they agree to 1-2 year extensions to protect their current salaries and move when football recovers.

Makes the idea of someone paying a significant fee for pogba this summer seem pretty fanciful

One thing that's been repeated by multiple sources is that the players are convinced the club is pretending to have financial troubles now but are instead planning big money moves in the summer. So their stance is "if there's money for new signings, there's money to pay our salaries in full, no need for paycuts"

what a good article. It covers a lot of things.
I didn't follow much twitter/radio these last weeks but apparently they have said no to the second salary reduction, since the club will collect all the money from televisions.
Antón Meana, from cadena ser (and pro Atlético) commented weeks ago, after losing against Shaktar, that Zidane thought the team wasn't focused due to contract issues.
I don't think they have any money for the summer market.Except to continue selling players on loan or using players to negociate.

We’ve received several proposals, good projects from Brazilian and European clubs for Fernandinho. He’s a phenomenal player and person. I believe it won’t be long before he knows what decision he’ll make. Everyone knows that Fernandinho has a great affection for Athletico [Paranaense] and the board. I, too, have an excellent relationship with President Mario Celso Petraglia.

Conversations have always happened, but I can’t go ahead and say that we talk about values, for example. It hasn’t happened yet. I confess that it’s difficult to think of Fernandinho returning to Brazil and not playing for Athletico. But we have to wait, it’s a difficult decision, which he has to make with his family.

Brighton are leading the way for Caicedo with West Ham, Everton, and Newcastle United all interested.

Lyon and Atletico de Madrid are currently negotiating the final details for the clauses of a loan with an option to buy for Moussa Dembélé. Dembélé has already agreed to join Atletico. He is now waiting for an agreement between the clubs to travel to Spain and pass his medicals.

Ravel Morrison has come to an agreement with ADO Den Haag to terminate his contract with them.

Milan is one of the club that is pursuing the player, but meanwhile there's the match tonight and it's not the right time to talk about it. There are also other clubs that have asked informations for the player. There are many interests, it means that he's an important player who have been playing well with Torino.
